75.03.27//Late Afternoon//Lower Caverns
The tunnels twisted and turned left and right but that didn't stop Xandria. She was going to to find out which of these tunnels lead outside. There had to be a hidden passage outside somewhere. It was hard to tell sometimes because she always ended up in a storage area. Not that they weren't interesting. Some of the storage areas had interesting items that she would return too in time. Extra glow baskets, some extra clothes and fabrics. Maybe see about finding some new clothes. At least something to fix up her old ones. Her pants need some patches around her knees and ankles. Her shirts need patches around her elbows plus a pretty large tear around the back that she had gotten hooked up on a tree branch when she was exploring the jungle.
Right now she had on her spare shirt and pants. She just needed to get some new clothes or at least patch the ones that she had. She stood still for a moment and looked a head. There were two tunnels a head of her and she had no clue which one to take. Truthfully, she couldn't remember which tunnels she had been in before and which ones she hadn't. Everything was so twisty down here. She shook her head and stood on the steps for a moment. Left or right, left or right. She shrugged and shook her head. Well, if she didn't show up for dinner, they would know something wasn't right. She was always there for dinner even if she was dirty and covered in leaves from exploring. She would be there.
She chose left and walked down the tunnel. Maybe it would lead her back to the kitchen and the dinning hall. She was sure that she was getting hopelessly lost in these tunnels. Every twist and turn lead to another tunnel and she had found herself hopelessly lost. She was getting a little nervous and scared. After going down the latest tunnel, she finally just had it and took a seat on the steps. "Lets see, I went right then left then right or was it the other way around." She couldn't really remember which where she was. She had gone through a couple of tunnels and into a couple of storage areas.
She sat there and thought of back tracking but she wasn't sure if that would get her more lost than she already was. Just how many tunnels were down here. Maybe it would be wise just to sit here and wait for someone to come and find her. Someone at some point know that she was missing and look for her. Maybe. She was a trouble maker after all.
