Barlow raised an eyebrow as the Pink leapt onto his shoulders, giving him some light scratches. This one was certainly going to be a jumper, which he thought was actually neat. He had long been interested in the wide range of quirks dragon relations had, and this was no exception. He wasn’t confident in his ability to turn his head to get a better look at her without knocking her off. Oh well, he’d have time enough for that later it seemed. The soft hum however was clearly audible with her do close and he leaned his head a little closer. A nice little tune, though he wasn’t a harper. Seemed like she was though. He looked back toward the rest of the eggs, judging the meat situation again. Looked like it would be fine. There was a Queen out, but a Silver with tones of pink. Small Queen then. Since he had targeted the upper end for both, there would be plenty to go around. So he took a moment to think about a name. What to name the little one? He pondered that while watching the Weyrling move around.
Cyanee took a moment to marvel at the Queen that broke free. Very lovely. The Auroraweyrling already had enough food though, so she could watch them both for a moment with a smile. Another egg was trying to hatch, rather comically. She stifled a giggle and went over to the candidate that had just entered and offer her some meat to participate in the hatching with.
“Looks like you came in at just the right time. Wouldn’t want to miss the Queen.” Cyanee looked around and spotted Barlow still waiting next to a pile of meat. “Eep! Excuse me!” She bounced back to refill, not noticing that she was more relaxed than usual, even without the Blue around. Zigbrieth noticed though.
Lan watched, getting more and more out of it as the Gray-Black stumbled upon the Silver-Pink’s hatching. He wondered a bit at the Gray-Black. Two toned dragons tended to be more toward the dominate color in personality, from what he had seen. Made Ethilask very much confident in certain things, demanding in others. Still, he wondered if the Gray in her made petting that much more effective. He moved his plat from a nearby chair and placed it on the ground so he could sit. He was almost done with his meal, but if he wasn’t careful he would fall asleep right here. The little White’s tiredness was catching. She was still curled up in his arms and he observed that her little wings were in an arc shape. Hmm.
