Late Afternoon
Dining Hall
Mau was bouncing around to get ready. She’d been getting ready a little bit at a time, for a while now but now everything was set. Hammer followed her as she made sure everything was in place. Food had been gathered and placed out. K’tar had managed to get a harper for the event, who was set up and ready to play. Mau had made sure her gift was ready well in advance, and it was sitting on a table nearby. She greeted a few people that had been invited, mostly their fellow riders and friends. Almost everyone was here. However Mau just couldn’t seem to sit still. Even though almost everything was ready, and from what she could see, it was all perfect, she couldn’t relax. She was proud that she had gotten everything in order, but still she was excited. It was Holt’s Turnday after all.
K’tar had been as good as she hoped in getting everything and everyone together. She’d felt like she couldn’t have done it all without his help. She finally stopped for half a moment to get a better look at everything and everyone. It seemed that everyone was almost ready, but they were down a few important people. K’tar wasn’t there quite yet, but she figured he was just caught up getting some of the more important guest there.
Has it started yet? Can I talk to everyone? The Green was waiting around outside, eyes whirling rapidly. Oh she was excited as well. Quimyenth had very easily learned to love parties, since they were full of exciting things to do and smell. Not taste though. She had convinced Mau to make her some of those tasty food things a while ago though, so now she knew how pies tasted. They were very interesting.
Wait a little! I don’t want you to forget to be quiet about it all until everyone is here. Remember-
Don’t ruin the surprise. Yes I know. But Mine, it’s too long to wait. The impatience colored the dragoness while Mau chuckled a little.
You’re right. But we have to wait anyway. She looked around again, catching some people that had just arrived. She went over to tell them what they were to do when the time came. Surprises, after all needed some coordinating.
