Role Play Mechanics

• Characters may be in as many threads as the role player feels comfortable handling. Each role player is responsible for making sure their characters fit into the time line appropriately when handling multiple threads.
• Threads may take place anywhere within a month before the current date. The current date (Date and Time Mechanics Thread) will move forward at a rate of one role play day to every real time day.
  
  
• All dragon names end in "th"
  All LifeWing names end in "sh"
  All wher names incorporate part of the Handler's name and end in "sk."
• Standard hair and eye colors only. No hair dyes exist on our Pern.
  Allowed Hair Colors: Black, Brown, Blonde, Auburn/Chestnut/Red, Grey/White for elders or as occurs naturally
  Allowed Eye Colors: Brown, Green, Hazel, Amber, Blue, Grey (rare)

[li]Regarding fight scenes, a character can attempt to injure their opponent, but the other character's role player can dodge or retaliate. No one is untouchable. Talk with the other RPer if any uncertainly exists that needs to be addressed.

[li]Members who are inactive for over three months may have their characters put up for adoption if it is specified that they are adoptable in their profiles.

• If needed for plot reasons the staff will write the character(s) should their role player be absent.
  
• Rare dragons may be transferred to other Weyrs.
