T’lok nodded a little as he continued to think on what R’le said. That was one thing about T’lok, he did a lot of thinking first and a little talking second. One thing Lizeth found incredibly amusing and would try and change at times, trying to urge T’lok into speaking his mind more quickly. But T’lok often mentally shushed his beloved lifemate… He found that waiting and watching was a better approach to be sure. He watched as R’le’s smile grew at his words about his dragon. It was always interesting to learn about other dragons as they weren’t usually very forthcoming about themselves… Dragons were a mystery to be sure… All but Lizeth. His little white dragon was like an open book to him… But only him.
He nodded in agreement, taking a few more moments to eat at his food. He was quickly finishing up, but didn’t figure he’d leave right away. He was enjoying this conversation indeed… Yet as the words turned to him, he dipped his head a little, toying with his hat as he chewed his last bite. But he nodded slowly in understanding at the small bit of instruction that R’le was throwing his way. Oh yes… He knew his dragon… But as much as R’le said he did, he wasn’t certain he did know what he wanted… He knew he wanted what was best for Lizeth, but that had been called into question… What if his direction and coddling wasn’t actually what was best for the little White? Well he would only find this in time. He loved the dragon more than he had loved very many things in his lifetime. But he would figure it all out in time, he was sure. R’le’s assurance that he would, made him grin just a little and nod with his own certainty.
He laughed softly as R’le spoke of there being paperwork involved. He wrinkled his nose a little and shook his head just a little. He wouldn’t like the paperwork side of it too much, he didn’t figure, but he gave a light shrug with a chuckle at R’le’s reaction as well. “Well… Ah’ll be sure teh help with whatever is needed.” He gave a light nod trying not to seem too eager. “Ah’d be mighty obliged. Think I can take all the help I can git…” He nodded a little as he reclined in his chair. “So buried in paperwork are ye?” He tilted his head a little looking a little concerned. That didn’t sound like fun in the least. He wasn’t certain he would enjoy being a Weyrleader of any sort in the least. Once again a reason he was thankful for his beloved Lizeth.
Looking around, he was noticing the hall growing more and more crowded. The amount of people crowding in was making T’lok a bit nervous, but he fought the urge to take his leave for the time being.
