I'm rather obsessive with my collection so I'm just curious as to which of the DRoP books you actually own! (And other McCaffrey books because I love her Petaybee series and some of her other ones as well.) And do you have any of the guides? 'cause I haven't met other people who do yet.
I lived on a boat. No room for book collecting *big sigh* I recently found Moreta in a free pile. Was so happy. I would probably get the Dragonlovers guide to pern, all the pretty pictures, its been years since I've looked through that book, and maybe the Dragon Riders of pern? Somehow I remember that being a favorite of mine. But in actual owning, just Moreta.
Svak and Midnight Tsubareth Sk'ar and RR Flame Verith Lesti of LifeWing Klesh
All of them (at least, the Pern books). But they're only on my computer; the only actual books that I have are the first three.
Does all mean the original Pern McCaffrey books? All of the McCaffrey ones? The Todd and Anne ones? The guides?
I NEED TO KNOW BECAUSE OF REASONS. /curiosity killed the Nicole.
All means most of the Todd ones, all of the Anne ones (including several shorts), but regrettably no guides. I'll have to see if Dragonlovers guide is available as a PDF or other such file.
Finding the Dragonlover's Guide now is a pain in the butt. It MIGHT be a .pdf somewhere? If you can't find it I'll hijack my scanner and scan it for you if you want.
I have all the Anne ones -- I don't like Todd's writing style; his and Anne's stuff seems noncanonical to me somehow -- and the graphic novel of Dragonflight, but only the second part, and the Draognlover's Guide to Pern and the People of Pern and the Atlas of Pern.
I should clarify that my dad was obsessed with these books; I inherited most of them. Squee.
I mean to find one in new condition. A lot of the ones I've seen in used stores have rips or stains. Amazon is usually better. (Except for when they send me the WRONG BOOK grrrr.)
Unfortunately, my DLG has been used and dragged around the house and moving that the pages are literally falling out. Fortunately the margin between the content and the binding is really wide so I'm going to take it to a print store and get it spiral bound (it costs like $3).

I only have Dragonflight, the first of the Lessa series... But I've read all the Lessa books, and the book with multiple stories in it called The Girl Who Could Hear Dragons.
It's been a while since I've read one of the novels, but Moreta: Dragonlady of Pern was definitely my favorite. I'd like to reread some of them now that it's summer and I have some time
