Quimyenth watched as Viarth slowly started to catch the beat. He stumbled a little bit but soon enough he had caught it and they were dancing! Qui was extremely happy about this. Now you got it! The dancing Green did a little back and forth dance to celebrate, something she had practiced with Mau. She reverted quickly though, back to a dance to match Viarth's. If there was one thing she had drilled into her head from Mau it was that if you were dancing with someone, you matched them. Mau was very particular about dancing, so Qui took it to heart.
Mau laughed at his incredulous appearance, having far too much fun. The dance got faster and she had to focus more on matching his steps, so she resigned herself into a mischievous smile. Oh it was fun to joke with friends. As the music changes she spied some of the other dancing pairs getting into the swing of things. Oh, one of these.
"It's been a while. Mind going easy on me for this one?" She could usually follow people pretty well, but it had been a long time. Turns in fact. Still, that was neither here nor there, as long as she was dancing.

R'le watched Rilora's attention get diverted. Hmm. The T'kar and Lithena were off to dance, but somehow he didn't think the Goldrider was watching her sister, not really. His gaze snapped back though, so he was still facing her when her attention returned. "No plans can be the best plans I suppose. Just make sure you don't stand on the sidelines all night." He smiled a little and listened to her next words. "Oh? Well I will have to dance with her then." R'le liked dancing at gathers, but that didn't mean he was particularly good at it.
However when someone came over to speak with Rilora, it looked like her evening was about to become less then good. Shame. It looked like she neatly postponed it and headed off. R'le grinned at her parting words and gave her a neat wave as he spoke.
"No worries, I'll be around whenever you need a run around the dance floor." R'le watched her go and looked around. Well he would have to go and talk with someone then. Most of the people he spotted were talking with others and he did so hate to be a third wheel unless he had reason. So he decided to go about and try to make new friends. His eyes fell on a young lady and someone who had had a bit too much to drink already. Hmm. From the reaction of her flitters, he was not welcome company. Well, looked like he had a reason to jump in. So he walked up to the red haired woman with the flitters and the drunken man.
"Good evening! How are you all doing?" R'le casually put a hand on the drunk man's shoulder, who he didn't recognize. He smelled heavily of drink and was clearly hitting on the woman. He leaned over to the drunk and said simply, "You've got a bad case of bad breath, I'd fix that quick if I were you." R'le looked friendly and all, but there was something about him that would tell the drunk, no really, go do that. Might have been the hand on his shoulder.
