D'gan Cisneros Male | 46 | Daddy issues Sr. Weyrleader and Rider of Tiger Mosiliath | Experienced | Modest | Stubborn | Noncommittal | Profile
Summary
Proud and quiet, D'gan Cisneros, much like his dragon, has begun to yearn for a much more simpler time - or at least a few turns off his age. Though growing older has made him much more stubborn about certain topics, his experience and knowledge makes him a valuable asset in the Weyr - though he would never be the one to brag about it. There are very few things that truly frighten him. Losing the rest of his hearing is a big issue, as is commitment to anyone. The fact that he now has a daughter in the world has done very little to soothe his nerves, though he finds the concept of having a child intriguing to say the least. If he was able to have things his way, he would rather spend the rest of his days alongside Mosiliath and little else.
A strong, quiet woman, the only thing D'gan would have had in common with Yuki was their Northern origins -- were it not for Mosiliath winning the Flight of her Aurora, Ayleneth. Not long after the fact, D'gan found himself in the unfamiliar position of being a father to Yura. Mosiliath treads carefully around the equally quiet, reserved Aurora, and though he has always been appreciative of her company, he stands loyal beside his Rider and whatever conclusion he may come to. However, Yuki and Ayleneth's transfer back to Ice Stone Weyr has lifted a great weight off of everyone's back, and only the future knows what's to happen next.
Perhaps not the best step into parenthood, but it's one D'gan will never forget.
Though she's about half his age, D'gan looks to Rilora with admiration and respect. He can tell she still has a lot to learn, but in the short amount of time he has known her, she has proven herself to be a worthy leader and Weyrwoman in his eyes. After Mosiliath's victorious Chase (and a rather strange following morning), D'gan can't help but feel a bit encouraged by Rilora's enthusiasm towards their relationship. He and Mosiliath have always thought fondly of the Weyrwoman and her Gold, and it seems that becoming Weyrmates is the next step for the pair.
But with war approaching, will their relationship stand fast and hold, for the Weyr and themselves?
It isn't often that he or Mosiliath sees R'le or Quiorith, but when they do, it's usually in the skies above the Weyr. D'gan doesn't know R'le all that well, though his overall opinion of the CloudRider is a good one. They seem to be dedicated and hard-working, both of which are qualities that D'gan admires. Mosiliath thinks of Quiorith as a friend, and is always up for a morning race if the Cloud is.
D'gan and Mosiliath think T'kar his dragon are a bit flashy and strong-willed, though it's clear their intentions are good. T'kar has proven he is an able Wingleader, though more experience under his belt wouldn't hurt. There is no doubt in their minds that as T'kar grows older, he and Ancalanath will mature into a strong, confident - not cocky - Rider and dragon pair.
