74.06.28 VERY early morning, Beach
The day was quiet, and still young, dawn having just come only a candlemark before. It was a peaceful time of day, unbroken by anyone intruding on the silence, the creeping shadows retreating ever further into the jungles, until they were only memories, along with the terrors they contained. Along this peaceful scene walked a young girl, with hair the color of copper fire, and eyes the shade of the laughing sky above, her sleek frame toned from many a Turn being a helper and message runner. She wasn't dancing, merely padding through the sand, and around her floated her two little ones, their blue and golden-yellow hides glinting softly in the rising light.
Sighing softly, Adelia looked around, then nodded to herself as she found she was where she wanted to be, seating herself on a rock outcropping and just staring at the rolling waves, her eyes distant. Wave darted at the water, coming up with a yellowfish, which he brought over and started nibbling on, claws firmly entrenched in the wriggling thing to keep it from flopping away. Beam, eyeing her 'brother' with disgust, went into the forest and came back out with a ripe yellowfruit, one of her favorite treats. She prettily asked her Mine to peel it for her, and Adelia distractedly did so, then returned to her thoughts, mainly those of her family at Waterfall Valley Weyr. She missed them horribly, but not so much that she wanted to return there. She had come to love Rainbow Mists, despite having somehow managing to have the horrible timing to have missed both Hatchings that had taken place in her time there.
Archith's first she had arrived literally only candlemarks after, and Ayleneth's she had missed due to being unable to leave the side of the laboring woman she was assisting. She had heard of the two Auroras Hatched in it, of course, and had seen them around as well, finding them quite pretty and interesting to look at. Taking a deep breath, the girl leaned back, letting Rukbat's rays fall on her pretty face as she continued to wander her thoughts, wondering, not for the first time, what hue she would Impress, if she did at all...
