The lifewing rider's temper was rising. It wasn't very hard, Cr'wean naturally had an easy to set off temper. As K'tar seemed to stay calm and collected, his teeth set together, and he was close to grinding them. But when the Weyrling suggested lightly that perhaps he could get some more for him, any hope that Cr'wean would restrain his response was gone. In a quick motion Cr'wean grabbed K'tar's glass of wine and poured the remaining drink all over the boy's lap. The hotheaded Lifewing rider didn't even pause between his over the top action and his verbal lashing.
"If you want to fry your head do it on your own time. Until your have a grown dragon you got a bigger responsibility. So go back to your barrack, get clean and call it a night 'cause your head ain't straight kid. And if I so much as see you with a drop of wine until you graduate, I will personally drag you to a Master Healer and we will explain every last way a dragon suffers for your drinking. Shards, I'm thinking of pulling that right now anyway if you don't get a move on. I don't like idiots when if come to health. Don't make me put you on my list." Cr'wean finished his speech, which he had no trouble speaking loud enough that the rest of the table could hear him.
Back at the other table Cyan was holding a new mug of K'lah and looking so very embarrassed. Her face was getting red and she wanted to bury her head into the table. She had kinda been hoping to be friends with some of the other candidates. She had rather forgotten this might happen, and watched her chances of being friends with anyone around here slip away.
