Temperanth Got a little more calm which each dragon who agreed to lend their eyes to the search. As such, she was even more grateful for a volunteer.
I would welcome it. The more eyes we have with us the better odds that this is resolved speedily. The Ice Queen was radiating a mild relief, though it began all business a moment later. As of now we know very little, which means that we will have to take care to be ready for unexpected circumstances. Bring what you think you may need. Temperanth glanced at Hedara who was hauling ropes and climbing gear, as she felt she had to. The Queen’s attention reverted to the Darkblue. It appears we shall be leaving soon. Be ready.
Hedara checked the gear they were bringing along with them, ever the paranoid one. Checked and rechecked. She loaded it onto Temperanth as she conversed. Done. She checked the pouches on her belt. All attached and memorized. Sword and staff on her belt. A nice and sturdy pair boots, good for keeping as well a grip as one could on slippery snow. She’d confirmed that there were some Lifewings that wouldn’t mind being on call for if they were required and they had a fair group to get started with. The blond woman took a breath of air and took stock of where they were at. There were a few dragon riders who were taking a little bit of time with what they were doing and it all made Hedara impatient. Shard it, she didn’t want history to repeat itself! Her teeth reflexively started to grind together as she thought about it. This is why she cared about history, she wanted to be wise enough that it didn’t happen again. But no, a second time a Weyrling was unaccounted for. She wanted to throw up. But no, her eyes merely looked like ice and her lips were pressed together in a hard line. Why did life torment her with the one thing she really wanted to do, always in the balance? She shook off those thoughts, and turned her attention to those that would search with her. She would leave when they were full ready, not a moment before. Anything less would cause more problems then they would solve.
