R'niaan's voice hardened as well, "You realize Garna is about to be under strict watch once I set up Weyrling lessons in a few days. I will be calling all of them together rather soon. Either way, I knew nothing of those attacks...I haven't been here that long." He tightened his grip around her and said, "Look, you don't worry about that girl, I shall tend to her. And that little MoonlightRider is my assistant and she DOES hold rank as a rider, which is over a Candidate....fresh out of graduation or not. No use arguing with me...you won't win." He winked and kissed her forhead.
Bamath snuggled himself closer up to Ayleneth, the feeling was good to him. He nuzzled her with his nose, his eyes swirling a beautiful array of blue-greens. If dragons could grin like humans, he would have had the same charming half smile R'niaan always had...that pair was too much alike.
Yuki sighed. "I remember," she said quietly. "If it makes it easier, the incident happened on the same day that Grace Hatched." As if for emphasis, the little Silver-Gold flit crooned softly from her window perch. Yuki had gotten an extra glow basket and emptied it of the glows, using some small furs to make a nest for the Queen flit.
"She was not your assistant at the time," Yuki reminded him softly. "However, I should probably apologize to her as well... Of would it be best left alone?" She knew that it would have to be asked eventually, and she preferred sooner to later.
Ayleneth was careful to keep some distance between herself and the Crimson. Now that they were calm, he did seem rather nice, but her heart was still weighted with mixed feelings. Mosiliath still lingered at the back of her mind. She wasn't sure which to trust... Her heart, or her mind.

"Apology would be nice..." R'niaan said, "And I will go with you and I will put her in her place if she tries to be smart. She does have a snarky, strict attitude. I adore it however." He laughed and said, "Look, with all that's happened and a Hatching in only a few days time...we need to enjoy ourselves."
He felt the pains of hunger beginning to set in, "I'm starting to get hungry...but I honestly don't want to leave your bed." He winked at her, turning his head to see his clothes, and hers strewn across the floor. It was still too cold for even him to want to move... oh well.
Yuki nodded. "I would appreciate that," she told him softly. In truth, she didn't like leaving things like that with the Moonlight Rider, but... She sighed again.
"You're not the only one," she replied with a soft laugh. "I am not used to the cold yet." However, some stomachs would not wait. Grace was awake now, and she flew in circles above the woman's head. Yuki laughed and sat up, her back still to R'niaan. "Okay, okay. I'm up Grace." The Silver-Gold Queenlet landed softly on the window ledge, settling her wings on her back in a single fluid motion. She sat elegantly, waiting for Hers to dress.
Yuki slipped out of the bed and began to collect her discarded clothing. She dressed quickly to avoid the morning chill, slipping her riding jacket over her clothes. She had decided on a simple pair of brown trousers, thicker than the ones she'd often worn at Rainbow Mists, and a long-sleeved, white top. She tossed R'niaan's clothes lightly onto the bed.
"Someone's stomach will not wait," she said with a laugh as Grace settled on her shoulder. Yuki rubbed at the Queenlet's eye ridge. "The Weyrlings may begin to suspect if we do not emerge soon. And I do not fancy missing breakfast."

R'niaan laughed at her breakfast comment, "I can agree with that!" He emerged from under the furs, pulling on his trousers along the way. He pulled on his long sleeve, dark crimson tunic and his riding boots. The last thing was his leather jacket with the fur inlay. He looked over at Bamath,
You may want to get to our weyr soon.
Bamath agreed, Of course mine...
R'niaan pulled Yuki in to his arms one last time, "Simply beautiful..." He said and kissed her hard and passionate. He turned her loose and opened the door for her and the gold-silver flit. "We better get a move on before all the good food is gone!"
