Strolling along, no cares for the day with no lessons to attend, J'lall felt it was a beautiful day to take relaxation into his own hands. He found himself watching his purple bundle of headache romping around like a small child.
Do you ever just chill out?
Mine, mine, mine, mine....no. said Majith as he continued to chase his own tail, seeing how quick he could catch it. He never seemed to become dizzy, which amazed J'lall. Then again, his dragon might as well should have come out doing circles, 90 to nothing always seemed to be J'lall's new lifestyle.
Lessons, feedings, oilings, bedtime. It seemed to be the pattern that Majith managed to sneak in fun times, where as J'lall did not. Bed time amongst the furs seemed to be J'lall's only quiet. His dragon was constantly asking questions. Why is the skies the color of his brother? Why is the grass green like his sister? Why are they the color of the grass and skies? Endless questions in each conversation that always seemed to just be reversed from the last.
Why must you sit there all quiet? Why shall you not play with me? Majith inquired as he galloped over, touching J'lall's face with his, and making J'lall's eyes cross.
Because you tire me out, my Majith. He said, humor coating his voice, I feel like I'm always doing something with you, even if I'm sitting down.
J'lall wasn't sure if his dragon caught his humor but Majith just slicked his face with his tongue and curled up next to his mine, allowing J'lall to lay back on his dragon, who was now big enough for J'lall to do so.

L’van had never before realized it was possible to be relieved and bored at the same time. He was relieved that lessons were not to resume until the morrow, for those of them that weren’t insultingly designed for simpletons were either impossible or based on completely false premises. However, after four days of nothing but free time, he was pretty much clawing the walls from the sheer need to do something. He’d never been this long without something to do, and he didn’t like it at all.
With that in mind, he headed for the WeyrBowl, trailed, as always, by Thoth. The Blue was much larger now, at 15.4 feet from point of shoulder to point of rump he tied with Upsenth for the position of second-largest dragon in their class.
We should run some laps, Thoth commented, ambling along beside his rider.
L’van grinned as they entered the WeyrBowl. Finally, something to do.

It didn't take long for Majith to spot his Clutchmate.
Thoth! Majith crooned, jumping to his feet and sending J''lall toppling over.
"Hello L'vin." J''lall said as he stood to his feet, brushing off his tunic and shooting a glare at his dragon who seemed to be doing laps around the other pair out of pure excitement.
"How has the break treated you? R'niaan should be starting lessons up again tomorrow or the following day. I know he's had much to deal with recently."
Andromedae found herself stumbling upon the dragon pairs, J''lall and...was that L'vin? Yes, yes it was. Becoming a Rider has suited him well, however she still managed to be dragon less, waiting for Temperath to have a Clutch hatch, she was ready for her chance. "Hello boys," she chimed in. Starling J''lall since she made we appearance from behind him. "Hello!" He said, turning to look at the dark haired girl.

Thoth tossed his head at his larger brother. Come Majith, let us run around the WeyrBowl.
So saying, Thoth sprinted away, his already massive muscles bunching and coiling tight, only to stretch out once more. The northern sun was pale, providing only a little light and not much warmth, for it was due to set soon, though it had just barely arrived. Thoth minded it not at all. Nearly his whole mind was on the run.
Watching, L’van wished he was so lucky. At least, he wished it for a few moments, until Andromedae showed up. Still, even before then, duty was clear.
“Hello J’lall, Andromedae. That’s what I’d heard too J’lall. I’m actually looking forward to it.” L’van gave a rare lip twitch that might, just might, be a smile trying to poke through. “How has the break been treating you?”

Perffff~ Majith crooned as he went for a dead sprint after his brother, who managed to get a head start on him.
"There's never a break for me." J''lall said, turning his head to watch the two rambling dragons run around. "He can be wide open so much I can't even keep up!" He had an affectionate grin on his face as he turned away, not being able to help but love his little, now bigger, mine.
Andromedae sighed, "I am still waiting for Temperath to have a Clutch. It's not coming fast enough that's for sure." She crossed her arms, turning to watch the dragnets romp. "Maybe this time around I will impress my girl...well I hope I impress a female at the least."

L’van choked. That was a thought that hadn’t occurred to him. What if Andromedae didn’t Impress a female dragon? What if she got a male one instead? That would definitely not be a good thing.
“You will,” he said.
L’van, you really should join us in lap running. Invite these others, running is good.
“Would you like to join me for some laps?”
L’van turned and jogged across the Bowl, aiming to jog slightly inside from the edge, where Thoth and Majith were jostling for position.

Majith crooned to J''lall, Yes, join us mine! he stumbled a bit out of excitement, causing Thoth to take the lead in their race
J''lall shrugged and ended up hot on L'van's heels. Andromedae kind of stood there, left behind. She sighed and shrugged her shoulders. I am too lazy for this! she thought to herself, following with "Wait up boys!" And ran after them.
It didn't take long for her to take the lead, over the two boys with her dead sprint...but it didn't help that she managed to trip over thin air and face plant into the ground.
Majith stopped, turned around and put his nose to hers as J''lall found himself bent over laughing at his friend. "Good job, Andri!" He called to her.
She huffed and rolled to sit on her butt, legs splayed out and a pitiful look on her face. "Well that's embarrassing..." She grumbled, thinking of how clumsy she made herself look.

Thoth focused on the run. The feel, purely exhilarating, of his powerful muscles coiling and bunching, only to spring to full length before coiling again. He held the lead, as a result of Majith’s stumble, and perhaps that place would be exchanged shortly. It was of no matter.
L’van didn’t quite slow, hearing Andromedae’s shout, but he did somehow cover less ground, even with his feet moving at the same rate. She’d just passed him, and he was starting to race forward after her, when she sprawled forward to land on her face.
Thoth and L’van both stopped, though they kept shifting their weight from one side to another, running in place to avoid stiffening up.

Andromedae looked up at L'van, "I guess so." She jumped to her feet, nearly falling over as she did so. "I don't think I was built for running." She laughed off her clumsiness and felt J'lall brush past her. "Come on you two!" He said as he and Majith took off, side by side in their jog. "At least we're keeping up with what the WeyrlingMaster wants us to do!"

L’van smiled as he and Thoth swung out to join J’lall and Majith. It was true, the WeyrlingMaster was keen on exercise, and had little patience with slackers. L’van had already decided that he approved of the man. Dragonriders were warriors, after all, so there was little point in training them like weaklings. On the other hand, an impartial observer might have noticed that he was jogging on the slower side, so as to make it easier for Andromedae to stay abreast of him.
((I'm thinking this one might be just about done, what about you?))
