This is a completely newly opened (as of this morning 3-5-15) Non-Canon Weyr set Post-AIVAS, however we are set on Earth. We are set in San Francisco California on Earth. Our primary Dragons are designed after different types of stars.
All ranks are welcome except for a Weyrwoman, because our 2 Leaders are both men, also we don’t need a Weyrlingmaster as we have 2 already, but assistants are welcomed. We also have the 6 Canon Dragon Colors, noting that there are 6 because I consider the White Dragons as Canon.
There are 2 Dragon clutches on the Hatching Sands, but it isn’t known if there are any Queen eggs in the Clutch as all the eggs are the same size. There is also a Wild Flitt Clutch on the Flitt Hatching Sands as well.
We are a One-Account-Per-PLAYER site. The youngest age a Candidate can be searched and impress is 5 years/turns old HOWEVER a Weyrling will NOT be tapped until he or she is 16 years/turns old nor will a female Dragon rise or male Dragon Chase until their Rider is 16 years/turns old; they can be tapped on their 16th birthday and on their 16th birthday their Dragon can rise for the first time or Chase for the first time. Now on the other end we do NOT have a maximum age that a Candidate can impress.
Men have as much chance to get a Gold Dragon as a female has; our Weyrlingmaster himself rides a Gold Dragon (a Male who rides a Queen or Jr. Queen Dragon earns the title of Jr. Weyrleader).
We don’t have personality based impressions, on and off gender impressions happen on the site, but if the Candidate prefers on gender impression (female Candidate on female Dragon, male Candidate on male Dragon), it will happen.
We have some other things included that aren’t just Dragonriders Of Pern, however Dragonriders Of Pern is the main focus.
Our reason for being set on Earth is that all the Weyr’s rejected the mutation Dragons and Wesley because they considered him a freak because he rides a Gold Dragon and he is a male.
With Earth being found again the Mutation Riders and those who were rejected because of what color they ride led by a pair of Galaxy Dragonriders they left for Earth and settled in San Francisco creating a Weyr where everyone would be welcomed.
