Renegade Weyr is a 5th pass alternate-universe non-canon RPG. A Gold egg from Fort Weyr has produced a strange black dragon, an Obsidian that calls herself Luth. Luth is regarded with suspicion due to her strange coloration and many Pernese do not expect her to survive. But survive she does. She has her Maiden Flight and produces a clutch of 43 eggs.

Before they can Hatch, however, Luth's rider, Brea is assassinated, and the hope is by canon extremists that the clutch will not live without a clutch mother. But now, a daring band of sympathizers have stolen the deceased Luth's clutch and taken it to the safety of the abandoned Igen desert to form Renegade Weyr... Come and join us as we begin a story that is sure to have many exciting twists and turns!

The Hatching occurs and an atrocity happens - Fort Weyr attacks with the hopes of eradicating Luth's spawn once and for all! Life and death happen simultaneously on the Sands -- Renegade defenders slain while hatchlings find their Candidates if they live that long.



Now in the wake of the chaos from the Hatching, the renegades must rebuild and find allies to support their way of life, and the group of surviving new mutant Weyrlings who Hatched from Luth's clutch...
