"Just need ya to sign here, ma'am," the sled driver pointed to the papers on the clip. Eira took the fluttering papers. She started to look over the list of things the sled drivers brought. Mostly northern herbs, some salves she had asked for from a healer woman she trusted in south camp. "Go ahead and unload them with those huge crates over there," she gestured at the enormous boxes the courier dragon had dropped off earlier that day. She took a copy of the list to keep. "I trust it'll be right as always, and as always we'll double check." The man nodded, it was an honest way for business. Eira scribbled a signature and handed the clipboard back to the man. He waved for the other two men to move the boxes.
"You're gunna need help with all those."
"You're telling me," Eira agreed. She had been promised able hands to move it all, but any help would be better than none. "Dragon pair got here early though. Others to help move it inside should be along shortly."
"If ya say so," the sled man smiled. "Nice doing business with you as always, Lady Eira."
"Pssh, that title is for the Hold," she waved off the title.
The man shrugged, not intending to change his own habits and went to check on the canines before they loaded up the sleds with Weyr goods and headed back south.
The day was fair enough for the frozen summer. Crisp and clear. It shouldn't be any trouble getting these things inside, Eira thought, as long as there are more hands to move them.
