Afternoon
Telgar’s situation had been more and more suffocating. Rainbow Mists and Igen had both wanted answers. Telgar hadn’t had much to give, except the very certain evidence Anaela’s famous temper. F’mil had been certain this would eventually blow over, but he was now beginning to wish he had paid a little more attention.
“Pardon?” His face displayed a light smile, and the other two riders glanced at each other. F’mil’s single word had nothing other than polite confusion in it. They turned back slowly and the taller one spoke.
“We have someone else taking messages for Rainbow Mists right now, you are not needed.” F’mil examined the tense words with the eyes of his old lessons. They were very politely telling him that he’d been kicked from that position. Why? Hmm. F’mil didn’t let any time pass before speaking, nothing but cheerful.
“Well as long as you have someone. I suppose I do not mind getting my search numbers up.” He watched the two riders glance at each other and the other one spoke quickly.
“Maybe not the best idea right now.” F’mil watched the gaze in the other riders’ eyes as they turned back to him, and he knew exactly what was going on. He smiled as pleasant as anything.
“If you say so. I do have a pile of books to go through. Have a good afternoon gentlemen.” He turned and his smiled remained neatly on his face as he walked away. So, he was grounded. Oh, not officially. Not yet anyway. It was still there. There was only one event of late that could be causing this, since Delgeth hadn’t had an incident. It was to do with Anaela going rouge. Probably because he was the one to bring it to light.
[smear:c82009]They WHAT?[/smear:ffffff]
Delgeth-
[smear:c82009]WHAT WHERRY-BRAINED HUMAN THINKS YOU ARE INVOLVED WITH THE THRICE BURNED WEYRWOMAN?![/smear:ffffff] F’mil rubbed the side of his head. It didn’t help, Delgeth’s loudness was all mental. The dragon enjoyed to use cursing liberally when the situation called for it.
I’m wonderfully suspicious. Plus I’m Istan. And she’s not the Weyrwoman anymore. Not after that stunt.
[smear:c82009]Just because We know what’s going on better then all of Telgar doesn’t mean-[/smear:ffffff]
Does too. Relax, I never mind being hated. Not like we did anything wrong.
[smear:c82009]Sharding riders and their thread bait politics. If I could get a hold of Anaela-[/smear:ffffff] F’mil tilted his head as he felt a sudden influx of emotions.
Delgeth, you are leaking Telgar.
[smear:c82009]Everyone’s suspicious of everyone.[/smear:ffffff] He hissed, and started to march around the Weyrbowl, tail flipping about in irritation. It was true, he could feel it. And now he had some blooming fear of his own actions coming from around him. He glared at those around him.
Delgeth, I’ll be right there.
[smear:c82009]Leave me. You go read your precious books.[/smear:ffffff] The Dragon continued to prowl the bowl, but his rider made a beeline for him anyway. The Crimson and White dragon growled, unable to suppress his rage. He knew things were starting to go wrong. It wasn’t just going to end here.
