Temperanth crooned as Irrikath finally drew nearer. They would fly into the sun together, her and her Irrikath. She extended a wing tip to brush his hide. A wordless way of beckoning him closer. Temperanth was not about to let him move away from her now. Not even a little. Her eyes whirled with flightlust but remained flecked with amusement. She was pleased with herself and took this opportunity to admire her choice. Not flashy, but Irrakath was very well put together. That was not why she had selected him, but it was a bonus she allowed herself admire for a moment.

The slight momentum was enough and she pulled his face to hers and locked lips with him. If felt like this was perfectly fine, and her more ordinary objections were entirely silly. Besides, she did trust V’quin. That hadn’t changed. When she finally pulled away, her face was flushed.

It slid free and her hair was free to do as it would. “I ask that you let me have this.” For now, she doubted her would refuse, but she wanted to ask anyway. Even if even now her hands were moving to his back to pull him closer again. She needed the searing heat now, and wanted him close to her. Since he was the only one she trusted to have so close.
