Kaya - Board Administrator Simile - Moderator of Applications Jay - Forum Moderator Shoki - Forum Moderator Rainbow Mists Weyr is a noncanon Dragonriders of Pern role play set during the 11th Interval. Pern waits out the tension in the wake of war time as Rainbow Mists and Benden vie to take center stage. Traditions and expectations shattered in mere Turns, trust has become Pern's rarest commodity. We have been going strong for seven years since our founding in 2004. We recently moved to proboards in the spring of 2011. We offer a story driven Pern with a rich history and an emphasis on character creation freedom. We are proud to welcome role players of all backgrounds, ages and experience.	Dragons of every hue grace this tropical paradise. A lush jungle valley that boarders the ocean's Great Bay. Magnificent waterfalls laced with rainbows in their mist decorate the Weyr. A large field spreads out at the southern end of the valley. A refreshing lake nestles up against the edge of the Weyr Bowl. A small wall of stones between the jungle and Bowl borders the inner and outer Weyr. Even the beach is within walking distance, just on the other side of the Bowl's wall through a breathtaking arch. Dragons rest upon the heights, people bustle about the Weyr. Great birds called LifeWings soar peacefully and calm the Weyr with song. Welcome to your new home. Welcome to Rainbow Mists Weyr. Premiere Plot: Ice Stone Weyr has always been home to the rough, rugged, and unusual. It takes a tough breed to live in the harsh Far North. Tenacity, honesty, and strength of will are highly valued in this community. But when the openness and strong headed nature cultivated in the North backfires the fallout is more dangerous than just a few loudmouths butting heads. Silverlights rank as Queens and produce a part of the new generation at the Weyr, but they have been Impressing to men more often than not, something wildly against the established, strict order of things. Everyone has to have a say about to Silverlights and it's no quiet tension between the different camps. The dragons know best, what's the problem?. Silverlights should not be allowed to Clutch. Silverlights are unnatural and Pern is better off without them. The minor Lord Holder's son unwittingly Impressing a Silverlight a few months back the debacle has become an uproar. But is it so loud that no one will hear him Rattling the Chains? Current Plot: The jungles are getting wilder and the trees are getting thicker - so say the rumors. Some Weyrfolk refuse to go fruit gathering without a large group, and some refuse to go altogether. What should one make of these tales and rumors? Is there danger to be found out there or is there something else worth hiding? The Weyrwoman is told of a strange camp of wanderers settled in the Weyr's valley, squatting on Weyr lands or worse.
