Gender: Male
Age: 19
Turnday: 1st day of 8th month, 3054
Weyr: Rainbow Mists Weyr

Family:father:Caslow, Farmer

Oldest brother Larill, Beastcrafter
Older brother Naster, Harper
Older sister Hailie Weaver
Older sister Sarilla, Farmer
Friends: Several other journeyman scattered in crafts
Pets: None
Appearance: Tall and just starting to muscle out, Krillian has sun streaked light brown hair and hazel eyes. Calloused hands and feet, a liking for red bandannas and a ready grin are what people remember most, with the deeply tanned skin and wiry muscles of someone who spends most of his days in the fields less obvious.
Personality: Krillian loves attention, telling jokes and punning to get it. For the most part, farming doesn't take much brain power - at least for apprentices and junior journeyman, so coming up with tall tales and puns gives him something to do while hoeing. Figuring out how to get some new skins to read and how to learn more about other crafts make time spent hoeing easier. Krillian ended up a Farmer due to his high physical energy and his inability to stick to any disciplined course of study. He learned the basics of playing a flute - then got bored. He learned how to care for herd beasts - then was on to the next new interest. Farming, under his Father's watchful eye was where he reluctantly ended up, his parents and the Hold leadership making the choice for him. Farming is boring and repetitive. Krillian hates being bored. He would do almost anything to get away from farming.
History: The youngest of 5, Krillian learned to talk, argue and get attention early. His whole family is smart and are members of several different crafts, making dinner discussions the best part of the day. Family members took turns taking Krillian with them to their work places, indulging his curiosity and trying to influence Krillian's choice of Crafts. He loved them all.
That all ended when he was 9 turns old as his curiosity and tendency to touch and try to do things himself landed him in mess after mess. He had enough knowledge and ability to be rather dangerous or to cause big expensive messes.
His father started bringing Krillian out to the fields to let the rest of the family work in peace and found that Krillian was helpful - as long as a sharp eye was kept on him. You can't do that much damage with a hoe, and if Krillian tried - there was always spreading fertilizer. That task would bring almost anyone back into line.
Krillian quickly decided that the best part of farming was learning to hunt the animals that threatened the crops. Snares, slings, spears and even thrown rocks were all used. Krillian worked hard to earn the privilege to go hunt and since Krillian hunting allowed the Farmers to do their work in peace, Krillian became a rather good hunter - though not a very good farmer. Weeding and hoeing while daydreaming does not make for weed free rows.
His childhood friends have mostly deserted him, becoming journeyman and maturing enough to see how Krillian has thoroughly trapped himse lf in a dead end job. Girls avoid him for the same reason. Few people want to hear his jokes anymore, might it have something to do with the persistent smell of herd beast dung that he finds himself having to deal with so often? Or the anger that he is starting to feel at a life that seems to have trapped him in the worst possible place?
Adoption?: yup
Dragonet bio:
Black (f) Junith
Junith feels things intensely and is not shy about letting her needs be known. She has a short fuse and can be set off without warning should she encounter a "last straw" in a string of frustrating things. Despite her tendency to yell, Junith loves attention. More than anything she treasures complements and will probably insist that you write some of them down so she won't forget just how lovely that dragon told her she looked yesterday morning. On all but her worst days, Junith is good company for conversation and is never at a lack of subjects to discuss.
