It had been a relatively normal peaceful day as of yet Sk'ar mused lounging on the edge of his weyr in the sun leaning up against Verith who was asleep and Sk'ar not very far behind. Sprawled on his lap was Silk his little Silverlight Queen flitter laying on her back curled in a half circle her paws in the air and little wings spread out to gain as much of the sunlight's rays as possible. He lazily watched the Weyr Bowl with half open eyes watching the movement but not noticing single people. It wasn't to busy at the moment just the typical mid-day bustle.
Silk rolled over and stretched having had enough of sleeping at the moment. She walked down his leg and perched on his foot, one front paw resting on the toe of his boot her hind feet standing on his ankle. Sk'ar watched her as she surveyed her kingdom and all who walked through it. One of whom suddenly caught her eye. Resting both front paws on his boot now she leaned as far forward over it as she could getting the best view of this interesting person. Noticing her intense gaze he looked down not really seeing anyone. There was one girl walking across the Bowl. To anyone else she would have been just that, someone normal walking to a destination. But Sk'ar had been with Silk long enough to know better. Just as he noticed what had caused the Silverlight such interest she had decided they were good enough to go for and chirped excitedly flaring her wings out.
"Silk don't!" Sk'ar called drawing his foot in and reaching out for the little trouble maker to be. But she was of course already gone. After having easily evaded Hers she lazily glided down into the bowl like a leaf floating on a breeze. Verith after having been woken by Sk'ar's sudden movement snorted and rolled so his back was now towards His clearly showing he was not going to get involved in this newest chase. Sighing Sk'ar turned towards the stairs and raced down them reaching the bottom then taking off to the center of the Weyr Bowl.
Silk lazily looped around her target a few times then landed on her head trilling and chirping her excitement at this newest find. She leaned down and nuzzled the side of the long-bright-smooth-things-owner's face in a sense giving thanks for bringing her such beautiful specimens. At this point Sk'ar neared telling her that she better not take those or he swore something unpleasant, which she just ignored. The long-bright-smooth-things-owner turned at the sound of Sk'ar running toward her and Silk took that opportunity to swiftly untie what she came for. She had become very good at that Sk'ar noticed. "I am so very sorry about this." He said apologetically as he aproached Silk's victim and reached to grab the little Queen. But she was much smarter at this game than Her's was and having procured the the long-bright-smooth-thing she launched into the air just evading Sk'ar's attempt at grabbing her. She did like to make it seem like he almost caught her just so Her's wouldn't feel to bad. With that she circled around the two people, her prize streaming behind her and with her victory lap completed she betweened to where her collection of other long-bright-smooth-things were kept.
"Was that ribbon new?" Sk'ar asked, prepareing himself for another onslaught of female rage.
