Appearance: Though Fayne is not yet finished growing, she currently stands at about 5' 2". She is average in weight in comparison to her height. She wears mostly casual clothes. Though more formal outfits are kept handy for whenever they are needed. She chooses to wears dark colors mostly. A dark shirt, skirt and boot combo what she's usually wearing.
Her hair is a dark brown in color. From a distance, some might say it's black. Her eyes are a bright green in contrast. Her skin is pale, with very little hint of sun. Her build is dainty in looks.
Personality: Fayne is a cheerful person. Almost always happy and talkative. She loves telling stories, with dragons and their riders constantly the center of her tales. Her thoughts can be all over the place. One second she'll be talking about dragons and how they fight Thread, the next she could start talking about the weather outside. Fayne also has a tendency to forget words when she talks.
Fayne has her bad days, though. Days where she just wants to curl up and die. She's been like this ever since she can remember. On days like this, Fayne wishes that she could just disappear from the world. She's merely an "unwanted zit on the face of Pern." Fayne is also more of a perfectionist whenever she is in these moods. She believes, when one of her bad days appears, that the better she does, the sooner she'll be left alone. These 'bad days' don't always last a day. They have been as short as a few hours, and as long as two days.
History: Fayne was born into a small family of harpers. It was only her and her parents, though she soon came to think of the other harpers as family as well. Music filling their world, it was only natural for her to do the same, though she showed interest in healing. Fayne would sometimes get hurt on purpose so she could have an excuse to go see the healer whom she would ask lots of questions. Golden Flight Hold was almost always their home. Fayne can't remember where she and her family lived before they lived in Golden Flight. She began her harper training when she was twelve. Though she always loved listening to her parents.
Fayne was not very good at the beginning. Her best instrument was the harp, and she could barely play some simple songs. As she got better at playing, she was introduced to making instruments. That was something that Fayne really struggled with, and still does. She almost always spaced the strings on the gitar wrong and her drums never sounded the way she wanted them to.
Her singing was alright, but Fayne always compared herself to her parents. This usually motivated her to do at least a little bit better. By the time she was fourteen, she had made her first passable instrument. She was proud of herself. A turn later, she was Searched to be a LifeWing Candidate. She had heard about LifeWings, their abilities to heal with song. Fayne was ecstatic about finally getting to see some herself. They could probably help her with her singing so much. She wasn't quite sure about her change of studies. She loves music and song, but she's always been so curious about healing. Fayne decided she was going to try to study both healing and harpering. If she needed to drop one, then she would when the choice came to her but no sooner.
