75.03.11/early afternoon
Yuki had her daughter in one arm, and a basket hooked on another. The ten-month-old girl was chattering happily, even though Yuki couldn't understand her. Yuki laughed, causing the baby girl to laugh as well. Yuki found a spot near the lakeshore and set the basket down. Ayleneth landed nearby, so Yuki placed Yura near the Aurora dragoness while she opened the basket and pulled a blanket out. She spread the blanket on the grass, then picked up the baby girl, only to place her down on the blanket.
"How's my Yura today?" Yuki asked happily.
"Yura! Yura!" the baby girl echoed, clapping. Yuki laughed again.
"That's my girl," Yuki said to her daughter. She pulled out a small square of cloth and a round stone. She placed the stone on the blanket, then covered it with the cloth. "Where did it go?" she asked playfully.
Yura grabbed the cloth in her little hand, pulling it off the stone. She let out a shriek of laughter as she revealed the stone.
Yuki laughed as she pulled out a piece of toasted bread for her daughter, setting it on the blanket in front of her. Yuki knew the baby had been part of her getting past the nightmares. She and D'gan hadn't spent much time together since Yura's birth, though. It made Yuki sad, but she knew D'gan was busy with the newest group of Graduates. She knew how hesitant he'd been against having a child, so she'd said he hadn't had to get involved with raising Yura, but she'd like for the child to know her father... Yuki wasn't able to stay down for long though. Yura made sure of that.
