Appearance: Annae’s black hair is braided down her back; some loose pieces of hair falling into her face and on either side, framing it. Her face itself is rather sharp and angular with large full lips and almond shaped, deep brown eyes. Her nose, however, is crooked, broken when she was a child. She stands straight and tall, an air of pride about her. She is quite short. In fact, she is quite abnormally short compared to her family, but she does share the same rich tan skin tone as they do.
Personality: Annae is decidedly smart, cunning and has a tendency to separate herself from those around her, or, more simply, is rather aloof. She can come across as arrogant or prideful when you first meet her. She, however, lends herself to be a very empathetic person. She is also someone you might see as having a strength and may seem to have everything together on the outside. She does tend to have a great deal of responsibility and take anything that she is put in charge of or is responsible for in anyway very serious.
History: Annae was born at Golden Flight Hold to a pair of Harpers, both of whom were somewhat known for their voices. Annae grew to find that she too had a good voice and some skill at playing the flute. However, she has no great love of music.
When Annae was five Turns-old and her twin sisters, Rinnae and Raeni were eight, Annae got into an argument with Rinnae. It was probably over something insignificant, though no one could say now. However, at the time, Rinnae did not hesitate to punch her sister in her face, breaking her nose, but, thankfully not in any way that was potentially life threatening. Annae spent quite a bit of time unable to sing or do much of anything and resented the very apologetic Rinnae for some time, but, as all things do, that eventually passed.
It was about when she was about 12 Turns old that both her brother Ellennae, now E’nae, and her sister, Rinnae, were searched. They both Impressed and it would come to be seen that over time that Rinnae would make a very free spirited Green Rider and E’nae a very calm and steady BrownRider.
But it would be Rinnae that would change her mother and father’s opinion of allowing their children to Impress when she, without giving her dragoness clear direction, went Between and did not return. Although none of their other children have been searched, Orinia and Elleck have become very vocal about their disapproval for their children to be Searched…
But, despite this, Annae often dreams of being a Rider. It was some turns later that Annae was Searched at the age of seventeen turns for Rainbow Mists Weyr. She was excited, happy to have finally been given a chance to follow her dream. She accepted the offer, despite her parents disapproval. She had been saddened to learn about her sister's accident, but that didn't stop her. She impressed her two Blue firelizards shortly after she'd arrived at Rainbow Mists Weyr.
She has stood for Hatching but no dragonet ever looked her way. She stood for Dragon, Wher, and Aerie, but none have chosen her. She hopes that she still might impress, be it Dragon, Wher, or LifeWing.
Adoption?: will go back up for adoption should I become inactive

"EMRI! Stop your fooling around and help Hrin carry that satchel!"
The darker of the two Blue firelizard stopped his diving antics at a young child's head, and snatched up a section of the afore mentioned satchel he was to help his Blue brother with. He chittered irritatedly as he flew by his black haired pet's head. Hrin hissed at Emri and remained silent. He wasn't going to raise their pet's ire more than it already was.
Annae watched her two Blues for a moment before turning back to the infant girl on the table she'd been changing, her left hand resting on the sleeping girl's belly while the Candidate delt with her firelizards. Annae turned her attention back to her chore and quickly finished, picked up the little girl and placed her back in the crib. She was tired and could use a break, seeing as how she had opted to help in the Creche since before dawn.
She yawned, using her right hand to cover it up as she left the Creche, having already informed one of the Nannies that she was going to the Dining Hall to break her fast. Her stomach had growled quite loudly when she'd excused herself. She winced as stomach pain came and then went. An unpleasant reminder of how hungry she truely was. She picked up a tray and began placing food on it. She served herself a cup of juice, turned around, and found a place to sit off to the far side of the Dining Hall.
Bottomless pits that they were, her two Firelizards, Emri and Hrin, showed up out of between, creeling pitiously to their pet for food too.
Annae rolled her eyes and placed a handful of meatrolls in front of them, seperately, so as not to cause fighting. "You two did good today. You don't have to share your meal today," she told her two blues. As she ate her food, her thoughts turned to her family back at Golden Flight Hold. She missed her family very much and wondered how her parents were getting along without her. She made the decision she would write them a quick note once her chores were done and have Hrin deliver it.
She sighed and smiled, happy with her decision. She turned back to finishing her meal before she returned to the Creche.
