Wow: so many new forums!
Yes.
I hope this will give you all a better feel of the setting and if there's a spot you want to RP in that doesn't have a location subforum, put it in the main forum for the major location. The staff will be working on sorting threads into the proper categories from Inner and Outer Weyr subforums so that they can be removed. This will change the links to the threads, alas, so any threads moved will need thread tracker and other such links updated.I've also heard tell of Proboards v5 having some other subboard supporting features and I'll be looking into it as v5 is, as they say, just around the corner (though we all know about update delays).
Remember: Date your threads (use the current date thread) and label locations at the top!
Some months ago we had a vote about updating list records. The members who voted were OK with posting their own, coded updates on the appropriate threads and then staff would simply modify the thread and delete the update post once everything was updated to keep the thread neat. This is still a system I'd like to use, so if you see something that needs updating for your specific characters, go ahead and post on that thread. If it's something else, please PM me. Corrections earn marks y'know.
Last but certainly not least, I'd like to hear from you all about what you'd like to see here in 2013. Feedback is anonymous and will only be seen by staff. You can also claim +10 marks (on the honor system) for taking the "End of the Year Feedback Survey" on your marks account once it's done.

The Rain Event:
A particularly troublesome rainy day plagues the Weyr. Weyrwoman Rilora's feline is missing, as is at least one boy from the crèche, leaks - some new and others once repaired - now drip water into rooms all about, and all hands are needed to make sure this frustrating day doesn't become a tragedy as well.

The Weyr had known she would make an announcement soon. Now it has been made but what will come of it?
Nyneveth’s Flight:
There’s something romantic about storm clouds and thunder battles, right? Or at least, what a backdrop against which to prove your worth. Calling all males, this is a challenge for the strongest of mind, for what but willpower alone will ensure victory on this dark and dangerous night. Oh, and did I mention the bragging rights for the victor? Come one, come all, even if all you do is stand there and go “No way, this is insane!” you still get those +10 Marks for flight participation.
“Secret Santa” Party at RMW:
The party’s just getting started. Lithena and Rilora have had a minor sisterly misunderstanding, and the guests are starting to arrive. However, there’s already something not quite right. Or at least, it had better be something serious which has made WherHandler Dalonia interrupt Weyrleader T’kar’s conversation with Cloudrider R’le and Weyrwoman Rilora.
If that’s not the thing for you, then remember that there are loads of people there who are languishing for a lack of conversational partners. Don’t be afraid to strike up a dance, for it’s been whispered that Lithena and R’le were in on the planning, and they say DANCE. Also, remember that you get marks for posting in this Event.

T’vax and Davquil, or Tiv and Dav, to use the names they have for each other, are discussing absent sled canines and skullduggery of the Weyrsmith while running an obstacle course as punishment for the mistake of whispering during a Weyrling lesson. Simultaneously, other members of their class, both human and dragon, discuss the nature of servants, and why WeyrlingMaster Eraviya would accuse T’vax of expecting such to attend to his dragon.
Later that same week, T’vax gets a chance to finally confirm if the short GreyWeyrling from his class is named Virvine, while encountering her at an early breakfast. A’mir and Xiana arrive, though hardly together, and the potential for a heated debate at the breakfast table is increasing with each moment. Want to know what happens? T’kar’s “personal headache” is well on its way to resolution, as Emilia and Nyneveth complete their presumably last private lesson to bring them up to speed on the drills used in the Wing. Indeed, over the nearly a Turn that it has been, the Grey-Green pair has passed all the moves but two, and it seems to be going quite smoothly. Will it stay that easy?
After some smoldering glances between Elora and N'kio at Cliffside Sea Hold hit the ears of the Weyr gossips, the two have been something to keep an eye on. But did a child and her firelizard really spy the two of them returning to dragons after a swim together? No, it can't be true... they wouldn't dare risk the rules. (Would they?)
