Name: Felora
Age: 71 Turns
Gender: Female
Pets: None
Family: Sister, Vorissa(orsomethinglikethatomgmemoryyy), deceased murder victim
Father, Velilor
Mother, Fornaya
Weyrmate: S'lieze of Silverlight Xerecalth
Appearance: In her youth, Felora was quite stunning. Small, lithe, slender, but not without her nicely curved hips and cute little nose that kept the boys coming, she surely aged well indeed. She has a pale, powdery skin tone; her wrinkles like to stay only on her forehead, the skin of her cheeks still just as rosy as when she were younger. Her weyrmate is to blame for her cheerful smile, surely, and if her temper isn't getting the better of her, her blue-green eyes are still full of life and glittering brightly. Her long, straight, silver hair is more often braided and kept up now-adays, in her youth it didn't seem to get in the way as much; her old age has made her more practical. Prone to wearing sharp greens or blues to match her dragon, she tends to enjoy fur-lined coats and thick tights over the traditional riding jackets and chaps.
Personality: Felora has always been regarded as somewhat of a hothead, she is easy to upset and simply firey when she gets going. Her devotion and fire for her Weyr and loved-ones knows no bounds, and her protective albeit indulgent attitude toward her weyrmate doesn't help her overall complicated nature. S'lieze would know best about her easily-tipped mood-swings, one minute she may be thoughtful and serious, and the next she could be pouncing him, teeth and claws, all play and no work. In her youth, she was very outgoing socially, as well as active physically, however she has more or less mellowed out on the physical side of things since her age has taken it's toll on her body and overall energy level. But her fire will never die, and she is still quite a fiesty girl on the inside.
History: Felora grew up in a small Farmhold near the eastern border of Lemos, with her sister and parents and their assorted farm animals. She had a thing for runners as a child, as many girls did, and her dream was to become a horse breeder, until about age ten, when she gave up her dream due to the realization of exactly how disgusting such a job was to her. She didn't like blood then, and she doesn't like it now, so it was only natural that instead she found a different dream, setting her sights instead on her father's farm.
But fate would have it instead that their genes were hiding a different fate, and shortly after her sister was Searched, she was as well, taken and brought to Ice Stone Weyr. Upon her arrival, though, she only learned of how horrible the world could truely be, her sister had disappeared in the icy wastes and nobody could find her. The truth of the matter was long forgotten, though one girl could tell you that she was murdered- murdered, and discarded in the icy waters of the lake nearby the Weyr. To this day, though, it remains a mystery, as nobody swims in such a cold, frozen lake. Instead, it is assumed that she was taken by the harsh weather after wandering off in one of her characteristic temper-tantrums that Felora was never quite fond of.
Her bereavement didn't last long, though, and soon the memory of her obnoxious sister was left at the wayside, the events of Ice Stone Weyr taking much more precedence in her life. She met a boy, Selieze, who could only captivate her more if he had had smoked wherry ribs tied to his back at all times. The quickest way to her heart was her stomach, of course, something that he eventually learned as their relationship deepend. The day came when their Candidacy ended, and both Impressed, sure enough, she was blessed with her greatest love Shioroth. The blue held the same kind of fire that was in her own heart, fiercely loyal and overprotective of his Bonded girl's fragile emotions. It was the dragon that would eventually level her out, fill that hole in her mind that served to cool her temper and ease her wild ways.
The war came, though, soon after, and even though the harshness of the world was apparent to her, nothing could prepare her for the bloodshed that followed. There were times where she feared not only for herself, but for her family; S'lieze and his dragon, her own dragon... They only had eachother out in the frozen wastes, and to be called away with fear never to return, that could only take it's toll. It wasn't so bad though, as they weren't direct combatants, and survival came naturally to those forced to endure the climate of the Weyr they hailed from, and soon war passed, as it always does...
If she had ever learned anything from their past, it was that her fond memories of Halk by the fire, and S'lieze's warm comforting smile, those were much more important than any memory of conflict or strife. It was those memories she lived for, and her life certainly has not been boring so far!
Dragon's Name:Shioroth
Dragon’s Gender: Male
Dragon's Age: 56
Dragon's Color: Blue
Dragon's Appearance: Shioroth is a run-of-the-mill blue, he's very simple in appearance, with a solid royal blue hide complimented with slightly-lighter wing membranes. His eyes tend toward a swirled grey, as he is blind from age, though about half of his eyes still retain colors based on his emotions swirled in with the more neutral grey.
Dragon's Personality: Shioroth is a cheerful, yet blinded Blue, he has a very positive personality coupled with optimism that could sink a ship. He is loyal to the last, and would do anything for his Rider, and often times their closeness allows him to garner her vision for general sight purposes to see what is around them. They work well as a team, and Shioroth acts as the muscle, while Felora is the brains. Her eyes trained on their target, he can take down any prey if need be, and though he has a deficiency, he is still a fighting dragon, as there are not many obstacles in the sky.
Dragon's History: Shioroth was born of the clutch of an Ice queen, long ago in ISW's history. He served as an older weyrling and young dragon in the Weyr War, helping carry valuable supplies to battles. His dutiful supply runs earned him an honor as one of the quickest suppliers and best between placements of the war, having on one particular occasion used his ability to place himself purposefully in front of a Deathwing to startle it enough to misdirect an attack aimed for a downed dragon, saving him and his Rider's life as other Riders extracted him. His cargo had been lost in the impact, but later recovered by ground crews. Felora had berated him initially for doing such a dangerous thing, but now she could only be proud. That day she had not been with him, as their training with flying Rider aback was not complete, so the honor is solely his. Now, he serves as an anti-Thread dragon in a minor Wing in ISW, retired from active combat against other dragons or threats.
