Name: J'lall Bendam
Pronunciation: Joe - el - lahl
Name Upon Impression: J’all (Juh-all)
Age: 23 Turns
Weyr: Ice Stone Weyr
Family: Grandfather, Telansom Bendam [NPC] /Mother, Adrianae Bendam (NPC)/ Adoptive Sister, Andromedae Bendam (coming soon! ;] )
Personality: Jollal tends to be quiet and watchful of those around him. He is not afraid to stand up for what he believes, even if he may be wrong every once in awhile. His charisma and tendency to relax, though he does not speak much, is easy to get along with. He may not speak often, but he doesn’t mind risking his dignity to bring a smile to a youngling’s face. He has a gentle spirit and loving heart, as tough and quiet as he makes himself seem. He is more observant than anything else. He is very empathetic, easily affected by the emotions of others. He has a very judicious streak in him that is rarely seen, but could probably one day save him a lot of grief. He is very much into justice and all the keeping the peace business. He will always stand up for those around him, even those he doesn’t know. Thus is why he keeps such a sharp eye… he can’t stand to watched someone being picked on.
Appearance: Joellal is rather handsome with well chiseled features, black hair that falls into his face, and startling green eyes. His skin is nicely tanned from the Turns he has spent working outside with Runnerbeasts. He is well built and stands at around 6 foot two at the age of eighteen Turns. He normally wears clothing fit for the season and work that he is currently doing. The color is normally brown or black and even white. He always wears boots.
History: Joellal was born at Golden Valley Hold, but raised at Golden Flight Hold. He had a relatively normal childhood, raised by a doting mother… only thing was that he didn’t know his father... He looked to his grandfather as his father. His father had died a few weeks before his birth. It is said that his father met his end while helping a turned wagon… But he isn’t sure, though that’s what he has always been told. There had been no way for him to know, so the death and legacy means nothing more to him than just that: a legacy. He tries very hard to live up the man that is legend to his family, but he sometimes isn’t sure he can do it. It shouldn’t mean as much to him as it does, but his mother talks often of his father and that is part of the reason that he feels he is living in a shadow… something that now boy needs to live with. His grandfather brought him up like any good man should have brought up, with manners and respect for his elders. His mother gave him a kind heart towards children, since his mother spent time fostering small ones for Riders and those who couldn't handle the responsibility of children. Joelall grew up with "siblings" in and out of his life because of that, but does not resent his mother for doing it. Joelall was never sure if he had blood siblings or not was unsure...never knowing what his father was capable of. It wasn't till half a turn ago did Joelall find himself a Candidate at Ice Stone Weyr at request of transfer. He wanted to see what the rumors were about, mainly to explore and educate himself on the Weyr that was oh so new to him. He had never traveled often and saw this as his chance to start completely fresh...and impress his bonded to be.
Dragon Preferences: Anything that fits him. It would be great, though, to see him with a dragon who is completely his opposite. X3 Very fun
|Preferred Colors||Surprise him||N/A|
|Preferred Type of Dragon/Rider Pair||Opposites/Growth||sounds more perfect for future plots.|
|Preferred Personality Traits||None||N/A|
Hue: Purple (9900CC)
Personality: Majith is hyperactive. That is to say, even for a Purple, he is hyperactive. His mindvoice can run a mile a second, and often times it does so, much to the dismay of Rider and fellow dragon. He is outgoing, happy, and completely crazy when it comes to suggesting what he would like to do that day. He is loud and boisterous, even on days he's feeling down, and absolutely loves parties. Social to the last, he will likely drag his Mine through all sorts of awkward social scenarios they don't want to be a part of, simply because he wants to go play, and he doesn't care if it isn't fun!
Description: A deep, bright royal purple is the name of the game for this dragon, solid and vibrant all the way around. His paws and headknobs, however, darken up a bit, giving him a sort of cat-like color pattern.
Adult Size: 30 feet, biggest dragon of the bunch
Impresses To: Joelall
Joelall found himself enveloped with bitter cold, even after being /between/ it still hit his bones. He was wrapped in a thick fur cloak, knowing being here would result in colder winters than he ever experienced in more southern regions. He was thrilled to start his new life as a Candidate at this Weyr...Ice Stone Weyr.
As the Blue dragon which brought him to the Weyr touched down, Joelall found himself directed towards the Candidate Barracks. When he was assigned a room, he unpacked his two bags of things into the trunk at the foot of his bed and found himself spread out half asleep on the bed within moments. He was exhausted from the travel and was ignoring his slowly creeping hunger until he had gotten some sleep in. This whole moving was going to take a toll on him for a day but would be able to get himself up and moving to begin exploring.
His green eyes began to get heavier and heavier as minutes passed until he drifted off into a deep sleep. He was awakened hours later to his stomach in full growling, aching pain. He jumped to his feet and slide his boots on, running his fingers through his dark, black hair to brush it from his barely open eyes. He stretched himself out with a groan and found himself out the door and on his way to the Kitchens within moments. Problem was...where were the Kitchens?
