So, basically, I thought it would be cool to just post a collection of quotes that I either found or made up that I've used to either illuminate a character's opinions and general outlook or to help myself get a better understanding of the same. So, without further ado:
Justice is doing the right thing, regardless of the wishes of the law.
Whoever had to ask about whether justice required the presence of law and order had clearly never heard of two things: Chaotic Good and Lawful Evil.
We all die sooner or later. Far better to die doing what is right than doing what is wrong.
Darkness is only the manifestation of our own closed eyes and shuttered minds.
Politeness, n. The most acceptable hypocrisy. (Ambrose Bierce)
"For the simplicity on this side of complexity, I wouldn't give you a fig. But for the simplicity on the other side of complexity, for that I would give you anything I have."

Also, a little two quote "conversation" that I found once, although I only have an author for the first one:
"Divorced from ethics, leadership is reduced to management and politics to mere technique." (James MacGregor Burns)
"In that case, we must praise the management skills of our leaders and the technique of our politicians, for surely there is naught else to praise." (unknown)

I don't remember the actual quote, but this is paraphrased from a friend of mine, who was (if I recall correctly xD) describing the attitude of the main character from the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo books:
"There comes a time when you have to take responsibility for your actions, have to realize that it doesn't matter what was done to you, you are an adult and are not bound to repeat the cycle."

For the immortality of the character I based K'rad on. Also, for Dalonia
"No weapons? You are standing in a kitchen and you're trying to tell me there are no weapons! Frying pans, carving knives, a pot of boiling water, and let's not even get started on the rotisserie sticks!"
