Name: S'nire
Pronunciation: Seh-nye-er
Gender: Male
Age: 34
Turnday: 1.23 (176th Turn, 10th Interval)
Weyr: Dark Mists
Rank: Darkblue Rider, War veteran
Family: None, I killed them.
Weyrmate: Love only gets in the way.
Friends: Trust nobody. (H'to used to be...)
Pets: I don't rely on anyone.
Appearance: S'nire's looks can be very intimidating. He looks like he walked through a valley full of blades and came out alive. Scars criss-cross his flesh like a spider's web, and on top of that the left side of his face is horribly thread-burned, his eye socket on that side completely dark and devoid of an eye. His other eye is stone grey, frigid and demanding. His hair falls to his chest, wavy and black, and most often is draped over his left eye to hide it's condition. He can be most often seen wearing tattered grey clothing complete with a cloak, and carrying a huge spear.
Personality: S'nire is cruel, manipulative, and unforgiving. His prowess in combat is the only thing that allowed him to survive countless fights against R'nos and Regganith, although he has his scars from them as well. Deep inside, though, he actually has feelings, and at one point he had a friend whom he secretly cherished above almost everything, being his only one ever. He yearns for love, for acceptance, for somebody to care about who he is and what he had to endure. But that will be the day, loving him is like seeking a hug from a porcupine.
History: S'nire, or Synire, as he used to be known as, was a child from a very small Hold near Ista Hold, which was impoverished and uncared for. His parents were cruel and inhumane, they abused him when he was young, namely by purposefully burning out his left eye with captured Thread for what they claimed was "scientific purposes". They wanted the Marks for their research, but nobody would have it. When Synire was five he was left alone to fend for himself in the criminal-infested Hold. He was neglected by the population, he had only a mattress and one pair of clothing which was always dirty. Eventually boys stole his mattress, leaving him with nothing. For Turns he stole scraps from the tables of those who could eat, and for Turns he looked much like a skeleton with flesh still sticking to it's bones. One day he gathered the courage to leave, and he fled, eventually being found by one of the Dark Mists riders, and taken in.
When Syceth was old enough, he flew him to avenge himself, and did so, slaughtering an entire Hold where his parents were with the help of H'to and Chrome Chineteth.
From there he grew into who he was today, warped and twisted by life into a shell of what he could have been. His only friend now is Syceth, and his only care is what makes the rest of humanity suffer.
Dragon's Name: Syceth
Dragon’s Gender: Male
Dragon's Age: 15 Turns
Dragon's Color: Dark Blue
Dragon's Appearance: Syceth is a larger dark blue, with holes in his wings and a scar over his left eye, just like his Rider, courtesy of the claws of the Tiger of Pern. His hide is the exact color of Pern's night sky, with no breaks anywhere on his hide. His claws and teeth are also quite longer than most dragons, likely because of the strict hunting regimen he followed growing up, due to his Rider's teachings, which caused his teeth to grow into a more suitable role for rending and tearing flesh more effectively.
Dragon's Personality: Syceth makes his Rider look like a cute fluffy bunny. For every ounce of hatred in S'nire, his is twofold, and for every bit of anger and cruelty his rider holds, his is thrice. He is possibly the most wild dragon on the planet that still has a rider, he fears nothing and can kill with a stare, practically. His ability with firestone is above average, he can torch an entire field in record time. When he flies, he is like a wraith in the night, almost impossible to see and even more impossible to keep up with. His speed impresses most and his intelligence even moreso, his cunning top notch. His affection for his rider will only ever show in the most intense of scenarios, but it is there and he does love S'nire with all of his heart. He would kill in a heartbeat if the man asked him to, he would burn the world if anybody harmed him ever again.
