Appearance: Archor stands at about 5'11", weighing in at around 170 lbs. His body is decently built and muscular, a sign of strenuous and tedious work in the past. He is able to survive on his own with Lyrilith for some time out in the wild, which makes him quite thin and adapted to little to no food for a long period of time. Scars mar his body from some confrontation prior to his awakening, which makes him wonder how he was so lucky to have his bones set and grown in as they did. Nevertheless, the scars hold no memories, which is weird and foreign to Archor... but then again, so is everything.
Soft, short brown hair is nestled on his head, and his eyes are a deep grey, adding a small tint of depression to his gentle smile. Though he is very much so depressed, this won't stop his warm smile from bringing a reflection to your own features. The slight tan that has taken to his skin makes him seem a lot more rugged. He used to be really pale, but being that he doesn't really have a home, he spends most of his time outside.
PLAYBY: Allan Hyde.
Personality: As of right now, Archor is quite shy. He tries his best to keep to himself and would rather listen to the crowd than disrupt it with his own questions. He has a sweet spot for children and those below him, and will often help out those unfortunate and or poor.
In terms of morals, Archor is of the best. He is patient, kind, loyal, trustworthy... all the workings of a proper man despite the darkness of his past. All in all, he is the sort of person that tries his best to make the best of a terrible situation so that progress could continue to be made rather than wasted on thoughts dwelling in the negative.
When alone, however, things are quite different. He is a deep thinker, and will often dissect the smallest and most trivial things to get to a deeper meaning. To him, all things happen for a reason, and finding the reason is a lot like trying to find a link to his past.
Currently, he is trying his best to look for his past, however at the same time he is starting to realize that moving on and establishing a foundation for his future might be a smart idea as well. This might mean that he could be settling down soon, looking for a house or maybe land to work off of.
In terms of loyalty, if you manage to make friends with Archor, you have a brother for life. He would fight and die for someone that is one of his loved ones. After all, if you enter this little circle in Archor's life, you may be all he has. In terms of Love, Archor is the sweetest and most romantic and comforting lover. He will go out of his way completely to make sure that his mate is happy and settled in anyway possible. His woman is a queen, or at least she would feel like it.
History:There really isn’t much that can be said about Archor’s past, being that he can only remember about two years...
The first thing he remembers is the funneled, acoustic sound of waves, rolling and crashing from outside whatever structure that was giving him shelter. From this, he distinguished the low rumbling growl of a large creature, more like a snore, which was the first thing to make him open his eyes. The initial fright came from his confusion: he had no clue where he was, when he was, why he was... who he was. And that was when the snore re-entered his senses, and he realized that what had seemed to be a small cave was now moving.
Fleeing the shelter, he found his body to be fractured and broken. As pain surged through his body, he tumbled to the ground just as the beast behind him stirred before uttering a loud roar. The beasts body flung into the air, flailing in pain before landing on its haunches with fangs bared and aggression clearly shown. For some reason, this beast, which was distinguished as a dragon, felt Archor’s pain.
For a few moments, they stood at a stand off; they didn’t attack each other, they just eyed the threat, trying to guess what was currently happening. One of the main thing’s that formed the connection between them was that they could apparently share thoughts, which was something they found to be significant. And so they stood down for now, opting to try and get answers... for which they found none.
It was the similar problem that in turn drew them together. At first, they renamed each other: The rider receiving the name Archor, and the dragon receiving the name Lyrilith. Being that the dragon wasn’t actually wounded, she decided to try her best to treat Archor’s wounds so that they could aid each other in the past that was set before them: rediscovering the past.
The first thing they discovered about the bond between them was that they had known each other. In fact, Lyrilith was his dragon, which was why they shared the bond of mind between them. By now, this was sort of established, being that they had already spent about a year and a half in each others company.
Now they just travel the lands, trying their best to either find their home of the past or the home of the future.
From what has been determined, Archor is somewhere around the age of 23, which makes Lyrilith 10. Archor may have a sister that he got along with very well, one that he was very protective of.
Thats about it...
Adoption?:n/a
Dragon's Name: Lyrilith (Lee-ri-lith)
Dragon’s Gender: Female
Dragon's Age: Unknown (Assumed 10 years old)
Dragon's Color:Sunlance
Dragon's Appearance:
The dragon is decently built, yet elegantly sleek and slender at 27' in length. Her movements are graceful and fluid. All in all, he is quite beautiful despite the few markings and scars the mar her underside and wings.
There is also a patch of scales on her crown that are a bit more glossy than the rest.
Dragon's Personality: Loyal and loving to Archor, yet defensive and territorial to most others. She is in no means rude, but she carefully eyes everyone that approaches Archor as if everyone was a threat. This may stem from Archor's lack of time around civilization in the past.
When alone with Archor, they laugh and make up games, trying to make up false stories about things that they could have done in the unknown past. Lyrilith is quite motherly of Archor, and often takes care of him, making sure that he is dry and warm in long expanses of time they spend in the outdoors.
Of course, Archor returns the favor when he can. They ultimately have each other's backs.
Her voice is soft and gentle, even playful at times, but can get quite intimidating should she get upset. Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned.
The only different characteristic from her chosen division of dragon is that she isn't really all that controlling. She is more trusting of Archor, and trusts that she doesn't need to be. Besides, in the few times in the past that she has felt she needed to be, she was proven wrong by Archor's dedication and refusal to lose.
(I'm picturing the voice of Emma Watson)
Dragon's History: She has not mated. Being that she lost her memory with Archor, she has no clue who her family is. Being that Archor is 23 and he allegedly impressed Lyrilith when he was ten, it is assumed that she is 10 years old.
It is, however, assumed that being that Lyrilith is 10 years old, and Archor feels more familiar around Golden Flight's Hold, that Lyrilith was born of the Rainbow Mists.
