Nyn has a dark blue-ish hide that closely resembles the night sky with tinges of grey and silver that is spread though out various parts of her hide. Her hide is sprinkled with silver flecks, that when looked upon inhibits the feeling of swirling into a silver and midnight-blue illusion. The little dream fire lizard has a fascination with taking that of which is not hers - small pieces of paper, and sometimes even books - if she can manage to get her talons on them, that she enjoys collecting and hiding in her secret stash of where she compiles that which she collects, calling them her smooth-cream-note-thing-humans-write-upon!
Appearance: Natiya stands at 5' 7" with her medium length dark red-ish auburn hair that falls down her shoulders, to the middle of her back, often unruly and giving her trouble and seemingly defying being pulled back. She leaves it stay loose often but tolerates its when leaving it un-tied. She has a athletic body but a slender frame, her agile physique earned from her constant running about and inability to stay still. Her long legs have always faithfully gotten her to her to destinations in time and always saving her by seconds from becoming late.Her milky, lightly tanned skin is impossible to become sunburned. It somehow always resorts back to a light tan the next day regardless. Natiya has playful green-ish grey-brown eyes, that are brought out by her intense black eyelashes, that she inherited from her father. Natiya prefers to wear pants, lace-up boots, and her trusty leather jacket. She absolutely loathes dresses or skirts and tries to avoid them as much as possible.
Personality: Natiya has a silent but playful demeanor. Although she can sometimes be outspoken, as she tends to speak her mind regardless of her sometimes silent and thoughtful demeanor. She is very intolerant of arrogant people as they tend to disgruntle her, also causing her to be outspoken, speaking in clever, shrewd, and sarcastic form that may leave them dropping their jaw in shock or pondering as to what her cleverness meant. She will not stand for anyone who is harms or disrespects Hers in a humorless way as they will find themselves in a somewhat uncertain situation that may more often than not leave them in a wandering blunder and covered in all things imaginably painful. Natiya has another side of her as well, aside from her somewhat untamed side, a part of her likes the unadventurous activities. She likes to find a small corner or area where she may read a book in silence without bother (a book that is often stolen from her pesky fire lizard Nyn and her fond obsession with anything paper, giving Natiya the disapproval of most recorders of script writing. She tends to avoid them as often as she can.) Much like her midnight dragon Nroth, Natiya prefers the night time hours over the daylight and often silently wanders about at night and finding herself in strange situations that present them self to her. She is a quick and creative thinker who learns quickly by example, although sometimes it may seem to others that she did not learn a lesson well enough. She is attracted to small slender-y pointy objects and shares a fascination of sharp things much like her fire lizard fancies the smooth-cream-note-things-humans-write-upon. Toying with her sharp-things helps her calm down and relax, helping her to forget what may be upsetting her and help her unwind. If blade is in her hands it is rightful for anyone who angers her to run away as swiftly as possible as if they are on her bad side, her calm demeanor and relaxed attitude can change dramatically, a cool and calm attitude is adopted when in possession of her sharp pointy things, calming her previous firey attitude to be that of calm collection and sharp thinking. As opposed to her somewhat dark humor, she has a playful and accepting attitude toward life and finds amusement in the smallest of things. Most may consider this an innocent point of view, but her dragon Nroth likes it as it easily amuses him that she finds everything so amusing as it tends to make him feel lighthearted when His is having a good time as well. She is very loyal to her friends and will not only be there if you need her, so when the going gets rough, she'll make the rough get going.
History: Originally hailing from Dragon Ridge Hold where she was born, Natiya grew up there with her older siblings along the towering alpine mountains and lush green forests. She was born as the youngest child to Blaskt and Tethka Calins 17 turns ago. Her mother was a healer and her father a miner. At a young age it was clear that Natiya always sought the things that were interesting to her, but they were mostly the things that often landed her in trouble. She's a curious girl that goes out of her way to explore and find new and amusing things. (Much like her dragon, Nroth, who enjoys slipping out with his rider to engage in mischievous activities together. Curiousness being a characteristic they both seem to share.)
Growing up in the Dragon Ridge Hold was sometimes dull for Natiya, often leading to her finding her own means of entertainment. She craved to be outdoors in the fresh open air, where she could climb trees, explore the forests and mountains, and pursue her skill at hunting, although usually by herself. Going hunting with others would only be distracting, and she enjoyed the still silence and lithely stalking her prey all while toning her tracking skills. Her elder sister Nya, of 2 turns older than Natiya, was apprenticed in the beast craft - a craft that doesn't just focus on the breeding and raising of animals, but they also trace the best blood lines and act as the veterinarians of Pern. Her sister often disapproved of Natiya's pastime of hunting. Her elder brother Nethan fancied the smithy craft, becoming very skilled in the art and often finding and making odd little pieces of something for his youngest sister.
Regardless of Dragon Ridge Holds reputation for their general rule-abiding community, Natiya would often get into mischievous activities and when she was younger she played pranks (and set up small traps) on the people of Dragon Ridge for her own amusement. She later grew out of that stage of setting traps for amusement and began to use them for only when it was necessary (The "necessary" part can be left to the imagination).
Natiya knows the use of a bow and arrow, as archery being one of her talents. She has a keen sense of vision and hearing, a useful skill to use when tracking or hunting. Although she does pride herself of her archery skills, she believes the bow is a weapon and should be treated as one. She does not intentionally make a show of proving her skill to others but if they become annoying or arrogant she may show of a little of her skills to remind them of their place in her own way (whether it is her place or not to show them).
Natiya was searched and impressed her midnight Nroth 3 Turns ago. She currently resides in Rainbow Mist Weyr where she, her dragon, and her mischievous pet fire lizard, Nyn, are currently dwelling. Every so often Hers and herself continuously slip out into the night to take flight around the hold and depart on midnight adventures together.

Dragon's Appearance: Nroth is full grown to 27 feet in length from his muscular chest to his hind legs. He towers over His and she playfully teases him about his height that is like that of a watch tower and his intense, observant, and thoughtful gaze. Dark shades of blue and black meld together on his hide, giving him the appearance of a midnight sky. When flying, his sleek hide and dark colors cloak his rider and him from the acute eyesight of the inhabitants below.
Dragon's Personality: Nroth, much to his midnight colors, prefers the dark hours and early morning hours compared to that of the bright and sunlight hours of the day. He has a silent demeanor that most people find annoying because he seems to not be paying attention when they are talking. Although much to their ignorance, he is very observant and has keen hearing that notices even the slightest of noises that most cannot hear. He is tolerant to authority and respects those that treat His respectful as well, but if they are disrespectful or harsh to His, he will treat them with disdain respectfully. When angry he will retreat within himself and keeping his emotions to himself, unless his anger is directed toward a threat of His. If something or someone harms His then he will make a frightening nemesis - authority or not, he shows no tolerance to those who do not treat His to his satisfaction. He is very protective of His, and she of him. He is very loyal and dislikes being away from his rider for even the shortest of time. Nroth is extremely stubborn, even to His, which they sometimes get into playful battles between one another to see who can be the most stubborn, but naturally, Nroth always succeeds, mostly because Natiya knows he likes to win at being the most stubborn.
Nroth especially enjoys sneaking out into the night with His and going on diminutive midnight ventures. He tolerates Natiya's flitt Nyn, who has a uncanny attraction to anything paper and book-like, thieving it without permission to add to her stash of scripts. Although sometimes he pretends to be annoyed with Nyn, he secretly finds her fascination with paper amusing.
Dragon's History: Nroth was hatched to Natiya Calins at Rainbow Mist Weyr 3 Turns ago from the Gold Bylanath's clutch. He has been stalking and quietly protecting His ever since and protecting the Weyr when he is needed.
