Appearance:
If anyone wanted to describe Emilia, they would begin with her eyes most likely. After all, they aren't just a light sapphire blue, they're very big. They're honestly the sort of eyes that are called expressive, not just because there's some sort of "poetic beauty" in them either. Emilia has the habit of expressing everything, whether it's through body-language, or through her eyes. Widening, narrowing, surprised shock, horror, they aren't just there whenever she feels those emotions, it's almost like it's magnified because her face has so much to work with. Now, despite this expressive feature, Emilia also has light, honey blonde hair that goes from snowy paleness, to a darker gold depending on the layer you're looking at and the lighting in the room.
Now of course a person isn't just all face and hair and eyes, they're other things too. Which, for Emilia isn't much. She's petite, only at about 5ft 2in, and she's small in frame as well. As for curves, pfft what are they and where are they supposed to go, because she doesn't have them. What she does have is a body with the slightest bit of hips, and a flat chest so that she looks about three turns younger than she actually is...which, unfortunately for her is about 15 in that case. However, she has a bit of leg, and her hands and feet are daintily built which tend to make her look more of a porcelain doll when her snowy white skin is taken into account.
Personality:
It's not that she's scared of her own shadow.....actually, no that is exactly what she is. Emilia isn't the most, well actually she isn't brave at all really. She's more than just shy or one to keep to herself, she's terrified of just about everything. Yes, that is to say that if it weren't for her two flits and her dragon *which doesn't honestly help matters* she would be one of those people that never left her house. In fact, she left her house and she ended up impressing to a grey that constantly is spewing out rants talking about the end of the world. So yeah, she's a little messed up, and if she's a bit air-headed in the way she acts or seems to not be all together there, it's probably because she's not.
Emilia is incredibly good at disassociating herself from the world around her. Someone just got hurt? Oh no, that's terrible, now she's going to go stick herself into a hole and pretend it never happened. Why? Because, if she doesn't then Emilia will end up worrying about it so much that Nyneveth looks like an outgoing daredevil. Wanna talk about friends with her? She has none, she really doesn't, and that's because she doesn't allow herself too. Emilia doesn't know how to make friends. She's sweet yes, and she will try and help in that weird way she does *which is her just making things worse* but it all just ends better if she stays away and keeps her distance from, well, everyone around her.
Wings? Oh Wings are terribly for her. She hates trusting others to catch her so to speak, so working in a group is something that well, yeah, bothers her to no end. Nyneveth once again doesn't ever come to the rescue, what grey does to be honest? So, Emilia tends to be one of those few riders that is stuck on the ground watching and keeping track of where everyone is, and is used for whenever someone is sick. It's been established that that is simply how she works, no ifs ands or buts. So, what does she do? She searches. Amazingly the pair isn't half bad at it, and they found out quickly that they had that knack.
You see, whenever Nyneveth starts going on about how so and so will meet a tragic end at such and such a hatching, well Emilia automatically knows that the person has been searched. Weird? Yes. Do they care? Not really, it barely registers on the weird radar, because that is the most "normal" thing in Emilia's life. Where most greyriders have to be careful to keep their dragon's in check and constantly must calm them, Emilia has found that just by keeping herself calm she can take off Nyneveth's edge. However, they both go through at least three or four fits a day where one ends up sending the other off on a panic attack.
That, is where the firelizards come in. Skye and Leaf are Emilia's little balls of sunshine, and she likes it that way. No one else is trusted to cheer them up, no one else is able to get close enough really. However, these two can always be counted on to center Emilia enough to get her dragon in check and stop all those terrible fears and worries....even when they don't entirely silence Nyneveth's "Great and terrible visions of doom".
History:
Emilia is a weyrbrat, well she was a weybrat. Her mother and father were both riders at Southern Weyr, though from different wings, and her three siblings and she were instantly ushered into the same life. However, Emilia was always the shy one whereas her twin, Evia, was the one who was always outgoing and hyper. Still, the four siblings were never ones to go far from each other, in fact some would say they were all joined at the hip.
However, time eventually did pull the two brothers from their sisters; the oldest impressing to a black female dragonet, and the younger deciding to become apprenticed as a healer. Evia and Emilia were by themselves, and they entered candidacy together as well, though it took much prodding on Evia's part since Emilia had always been the type to stay closer to the creche where she could be in the safety of known surroundings. Besides, those hatchings could be dangerous! However, as often was the case thanks to her siblings and the two flits they bought her for her 12th birthday, Emilia eventually came out of her shell enough to give in.
Being a good five turns younger than the eldest sibling however, and he had impressed at his second hatching, they never were on the sands as a whole family, but the sisters always made sure to stand together if they could, after all Emilia would hardly move if Evia wasn't able to be there holding her hand.
It was no surprise that on one particular hatching, and yes cliche as it may seem it was on a "dark and stormy night", a grey female dragonet was born and instantly started keening at the top of her little lungs. An angry blue hissed at her, but the young dragonet wouldn't stop her cries. Emilia covered her ears with her hands, tears in her eyes while Evia marched over to where the dragonet had flopped down only a yard away. It was a stupid move yes, but the sister was never known for thinking things through.
The grey screamed, the clutchmother snapping her jaws in response to her daughter's unhappiness, and the dragonet darted forward, barreling Evia over and tumbling into Emilia in a tangle of limbs. No, No, NO! EmiliaMine, that thing was going to hurt me, she was going to end me! My sibling even wants to kill me, they all want to hurt me! No one loves me, not even you love me, you're too scared to love me! I AM DOOMED!
Well, that was Nyneveth for you, and Emilia quickly learned, or at least tried to learn, how to deal with the temperamental grey. Still, the Weyr where she grew up became a place that, to be honest, was scary for the pair. Her wing quickly got sick of the grey's constant blubbering, and Emilia was too worried to even show up. Eventually when her Wingleader came to ask her about why she refused to show up for practice, he decided it was best for her to change Weyrs and go somewhere where she could be better cared for.
Naturally RMW was a perfect place, safe and calm, and filled with LifeWings that could soothe her if she got into too much trouble. To be perfectly honest though she never knew, the Wingleader had held a soft spot for Emilia, and though the greyrider didn't know exactly all the bronzerider went through to pull strings and get her transferred, it was out of concern. Something, that unfortunately he also knew would cause more confusion and grief for Emilia than just letting things be.

Dragon's Name:The Sayer of DoomNyneveth
Dragon’s Gender: Female
Dragon's Age:23 turns
Dragon's Color: Grey-Green 5A6351 3D5229
Dragon's Appearance:
Nyneveth is tiny. It's not that she's one of those small length, long-winged, lanky-legged girls either. Nope, just like her rider she is small, and she's proportionally that way. At just shy of 17 feet, the grey is at the bottom of her spectrum, and her tail isn't extra long to try and make up for it either. Her tail is perfectly fine thank you very much....despite how much she may go on about it being too much this or not enough that. Her wings are quite the same, being perfectly sizable for her length, not over nor under it.
What she is for her size, is she's skinny. Not in a lithe, oh so beautiful way, but is she maybe sick sort of way. Someone seeing her for the first time might wonder if she eats enough, or is overworked. However, Emilia will automatically defend *but not without after much mental turmoil at the fact Nyneveth looks malnourished* that her dragoness is in fact healthy. Any healer she has asked agrees with her as well, the dragon is fit and good for flight. She's just small of frame much like Hers.
Coloring wise, Nyneveth is a not entirely like the other greys either. She has a secondary tint sub-mutation so that she's a grey-green to be perfectly technical. This coloration is essentially uniform from tail to nose except for some darker shades speckling around her head, chest, hind quarters, and the outer parts of her wing membranes as well as her tail-tip.
Dragon's Personality:
If anyone thinks that Emilia is shy and just a little bit off, they obviously haven't met Nyneveth. Emilia swears that the grey lives for being odd. Not only is the dragoness entirely pessimistic, even happy things will be said in some sort of a morbid tone, she constantly is searching for things to make her feel worse. It's like a shark to blood with her, the instant she gets wind of some helpless situation, she is there to soak it up and feed. Nyneveth simply lives for those terrible, horrible, entirely awful moments.
That's not to say she's the type to enjoy the drama, no, she just is drawn to it because she feels the need to tell everyone and everyone's flit about just how horrible it is and the doom it shall bring. Oh, and yes, if you are not familiar with that little word, "Doom" is something that will quickly be added to your vocabulary. Nyneveth seems to think that it should be used everywhere at every time, no matter the situation. You just got hitched? Doom. Baby was just born? It shall bring forth Doom. The cooks have made yummy pastries? DON'T EAT THEM THEY SHALL POISON US ALL!!! ...oh, and DOOOOM!
With Nyneveth, there is just no escaping it. To add to this, she believes that she has visions, and those few times that she actually gets it right, well they only make her believe her "visions" are real more than she used to. In short, Nyneveth, wonderful entertainment....but terrible company.
Dragon's History:
Well, I think this can be basically summed up with the following....
My name is Nyneveth, I was born into Doom. My brother tried to kill me because I am doomed. My rider's own sister tried to hurt me, for I am doomed. We have been through much doom. We have hidden from that doom. No one loves us for we are doomed. She is dragging me here despite my saying OUR FUTURE IS DOOOMED! .....we are so dead.
