Appearance:
D’nalis is a young man of deeply tanned skin and sandy blond hair. He is tall, about 6’3” with a rather athletic build. He generally stands with a certain slouch, but still manages to come across as dignified when he decides he needs to. It is not uncommon to find him chewing the end of a piece of wheat in a relaxed manner. His eyes are a dark blue color. He has several freckles that he has gained from working outside.
Personality:
D’nalis is a very relaxed, laid back, and intelligent individual. He is often actually thinking constantly, though most people think little of him because of his continually laid back nature. He comes across as a slacker, which continually aggravates his Lifewing and causes arguments between the pair, though they aren’t quite hostile to each other. D’nalis is the kind of guy you want to tell your troubles to. He doesn’t always like this, but he can’t help but listen and care about what people have to say. Underneath the supposed façade of a slacker is a good leader with a very calm and collected head. He never jumps into anything and always thinks about his course of action. He enjoys leading, even if it doesn’t seem like it. He chooses not to present himself in such a way that would be necessarily intimidating, though, when he decides to drop the laid back nature, he is decidedly not a man to be trifled with. He can have a bit of a bad temper, but generally he is anything but violent.
History:
Daninnalis was born to members of Rainbow Mists Weyr 25 Turns ago. They were Riders who intrusted him to Emina, a woman responsible for caring for the herdbeasts and animals of Rainbow Mists Weyr. His foster mother came to a point where she decided to send him to Cliff Side Sea Hold in order that he might further practice Beastcraft. When he was 13 Turns, he returned the Weyr and stood before a SearchDragon, but was not chosen to stand.
However, to his surprise, he was later chosen to be a Candidate for a Lifewing Hatching. He had never expected or even thought of it. Nor did he have experience as a Harper or a Healer beyond that of his Beastcraft. He would be further surprised when he actually Linked to a bird who would soon turn out to be a russet and gray colored beauty named Aash. That was the day his name became D’nalis.
He still remembers it well and often will recount the story to those around him. He is very proud of his Lifewing.
Later on, he would bond a Citrine flitter named Vi. The terrible little beast would get him into quite a bit of trouble in time, and Aash has never been the biggest fan of the creature. In fact, he doesn’t like her at all.
Overtime, he has had to learn more healing and improve his ability to sing and play. His primary instrument has become a lyre and his voice, though good, is not always the best controlled of them all.

Aash has a russet colored back with gray-black flecks. His wings are a gray color with black points. His longest feathers are primarily gray with black tips. His head is black with white markings around the bright black eyes and his small, hooked beak. His tail is long, orange, white, and black, giving him a larger maneuverability on top of what the shape of his wings already give him. He is a very fast flier. His stomach is white with a lighter orange color around his neck and on the bottom of his wings. His head is rather small overall, as is characteristic of the bird he is based on, being small, streamlined, and quick. His feet have rather sharp talons, with which, he is rather careful.
LifeWing's Personality:
Aash is a very stubborn and dignified Lifewing. He and his Rider are a little at odds in that way, but they love each other all the same. After all, why wouldn’t they? He is a rather thoughtful and smart Lifewing with a penchant for aerial tricks just for the fun of it. He loves to just spend time flying when he can. Although he will never admit it, he loves Vi, although they do not get along in the least.
LifeWing's History:
A young Lifewing stepped out onto the sands that day so long ago. He looked around him, but he wasted no time and went straight for Daninnalis. He was the one for him, no questions asked. ~You are far too relaxed.~ Those were the first words that he said to his Rider and, from that beginning, they have grown.
Aash was born at Rainbow Mists Weyr Aerie. He was never quite pleased when he and D’nalis had to struggle to make their way towards being known but he loved his Rider anyways and they learned to get along, though they love to tease each other, even now. In fact, their teasing has only increased with time rather than diminished.
Song: Dynamic, but very rich, no matter how high or low it goes, though his voice is easily described as being a baritone.
