Rainbow Mists Weyr is located in a tropical, costal forest setting not unlike Earth's Hawaiian islands. It has consistent rainfall throughout the Turn (usually heavier rains on and off rather than light rains) and has moderate temperatures that range from warm-hot to cool throughout the Turn.
Ice Stone Weyr is located in the northern tundra. It is a cold place with annual temperature variation, thus seasons, and is far enough north to see the aurora and have extreme day length variance in summer verses winter.
For the northern hemisphere, the seasons by month are as follows:
1- winter
2- winter
3- .25winter/.75spring
4- spring
5- spring
6- .5spring/.5summer
7- summer
8- summer
9- .75summer/.25fall
10- fall
11- fall
12- fall
13- winter
To determine the southern hemisphere's season, select the season opposite to the northern hemisphere. Ex: Winter in the north is summer in the south.
