Appearance: She stands at 5'3 with long, butt length brown hair. Her skin is pale and her eyes are a honey color. Small waist, bigger hips and average sized bust, she may weigh around 120 pounds. She has dainty hands that are agile, useful in emergency Healing situations. A thin nose, high cheekbones and allergies that tend to act up at any given moment. She seems to be allergic mostly to grassy areas, which makes Ice Stone all the more ideal with the constant snow and freeze.
She tends to dress in tunics and tight breeches that remained forever tucked into boots lined with fur. She had to change up her wardrobe for her new home! She always has a serious look on her face, mainly because she's always buried in her research.
Personality: Her disability has put more determination than most to prove herself to others. Her greatest strength. However, her greatest weakness is anxiety. Anxiety can arise in multiple situations, though she's learned to control it when in Healing situations. Her anxiety tends to happen when in frustrating situations where communication is a problem. She has an attachment to her research, keeping books of research she's written on her disability, sketches and possible cures for the fevers that can cause deafness. Anytime anyone has tried to touch her books without permission, her yells and scolding could be heard throughout the halls; she was more or less a private person.
She has this calm about her when not in anxiety mode, a contentment in life. She has her moments when she envies those who can hear, who can hear a child's laughter and the Harper's music. However her illness gave her a gift, a gift of Healing.
"For those who lose one ability, gain another." This was always preached to her, and became something she believed with all her heart. She is creative with paint and brush, with making little trinkets and converting old things into new things, but mainly with her ability to Heal. Her Healing ways are always changing, trying to improve on old remedies, constantly changing and moving forward what the Halls have developed.
She doesn't hold grudges as often as she should, forgiveness being something she preached to others.
Even though she did not see her parents as often as she would like, she still loved them for making the right choice for her. She may see them once a season or so, for they would make their visit last a few days and give her gifts and clothes from their travels to let her know that they still loved their little one.
History:
A fever swept through their little caravan when Hunter was a small child. She was overcome with fever for days, much like the others, which caused the caravan to make its way to the healerhall. One by one, people began to die and bodies were left on the side of the road. Her parents began to fall ill themselves on the day they reached the Healer Hall. Relief swept over the remainder of the caravan as Healers set to work helping these poor people. These gypsies as you will call them.
They spent hours with different herbs and remedies working on Adiana, but when all fell silent for the small toddler, it was too late. She screamed out, yet could not hear her own voice ringing in her ears. She could not hear the soft lullabies her mother tried to soothe her with.
She was deaf.
The fever had burnt her ear drums from remaining so high for so long, leaving her deaf, yet fortunately some speech. She was able to communicate words in a soft tone, for she remembered certain sounds and words from when she could hear. Her parents were devastated, knowing her child would not fit in with their travelers life, they discussed what they should do with the Healers of the Hall whom had helped care for the child in her time of need.
Suggestions were made that she should stay there, where they could help her learn communication and if she so chose, the art of Healing. Her parents agreed, leaving the three year old in the care of the Hall.
She was raised with all the other children, laughing and playing, but not without the tormenting from some children. They were picking for the fact she was deaf. She would fight back, physically if it came to it, even if she got knocked to the ground. She was special, yes, but in the same respect no different.
When she was old enough to join the Healer Hall, she did so. Spending as much time studying her work and researching her own disability, hoping one day to be able to prevent or correct it for someone else. She and the Healers developed a way to communicate by hand signs and gestures, but they would be no good to anyone elsewhere, so she had to either travel with another Healer if she ever left the Hall to translate for her...or she had to carry around something to write on and to write with.
It was when she received her Journeyman's cords that she wanted to venture out before becoming a Master Healer; making her research Holds and Weyrs. This lead her to Ice Stone. Quiet, secluded Weyr with a legendary library...and not to mention it was in need of Healers! She felt excitement in her chest the day she left to travel, her first time by dragon back. The Healers communicated the process of between for her from the Rider, and then they were off.
It was when she circled over the wintery Bowl that she realized she had made a grand choice.

Name: Tinidrith
Color: White (f)
Personality: A picture is worth a thousand words and Tinidrith believes this. If given the option between telling and showing, she will show every time. This extends to how she acts as well. She isn’t as verbal as most Whites are, but through her every action will reveal exactly who she is and what she believes. When she does speak she chooses her words with care, never overusing them, since she doesn’t want them to lose their meaning. She may be a small dragon, but she won’t let her size prevent her from standing up for what she believes or stop her from befriending dragons of every size. Quick of step and of mind, Tinidrith is a thoughtful dragon that will be bound to make friends and her character will never be doubted.
