Her skin tone is light, almost pale, but still with a slight tan to it. She has a birth mark just under her lips on the left side.
Nimura normally wears dark colored clothing. There may sometimes be a light colored shirt thrown on underneath a darker colored outer jacket. She almost always wears pants rather than skirts. She just finds that pants are much more useful than skirts will ever be.
Personality: Cheerful || Guarded || Devoted || Unforgiving || Involved || Insensitive || Disorganized
Nimura can be quite a cheerful young lady. Almost always, she has a smile on her face. She enjoys putting a smile on other people's faces. In her opinion, a smile is needed to create a smile. She can't get a smile on anyone's face if there isn't one on her own.
She also has a side of her that she keeps guarded. She doesn't like to let anyone to get too close to her. She's seen people get hurt by people they supposedly love, and she refuses to let that happen to her. So, in that aspect of her life, she keeps up a rather large wall. Nimura doesn't feel right whenever she lets her guard down, that's how long she's had her guard put up.
This is a woman who is devoted to her work. She loves to create the jewelry that other people wear. It gives her happiness to see that others like the work she does for them. Nimura doesn't take on more than one task at one time. She feels that if she does, one task will take away from the other and both will come out worse for that. She wants everyone to get her best work, not something that isn't as good as it could be.
If someone makes Nimura angry or upset, she can be rather unforgiving. She does forgive people, but it takes a longer time for her to forgive someone than it does someone else. She is a grudge holder. She tends to forget the reason for the grudge before she forgives anyone. She will admit that this probably isn't the best way of handling things, but this is how she deals with those people who do upset her in some way.
She likes to be involved in the happenings of the world around her. She finds that keeping herself involved is the best way to get to know other people. Being involved also gives her something to do when she isn't working on a piece of jewelry. It also gives her an idea for what kind of jewelry to make other people, when she's feeling like just making a piece for the sake of making one. This also helps her whenever she's feeling down.
Nimura has been called insensitive at times. This may be due to her just telling it like it is, and not 'sugar coating' anything she says. She isn't the best at consoling people for this very reason. She refuses to say she's sorry for this, because she just isn't sorry for telling how she thinks a situation is. She just doesn't feel that 'sugar coating' will make anything better.
This lady is one disorganized person. Enter her room and one shall find an cluttered mess. She claims this is how she is able to find things. That when she cleans, she can't find what she needs. She understands that there are other people out there who do not like the disorganization that is her room, so whenever she has to room with or otherwise stay with someone like that, she tries to be as clean as she possibly can.
History: Nimura was born an only child. Her mother was a kind woman and her father was a hard working man. The family, though small in Nimura's eyes, was close knit. Nimura in particular would have enjoyed having a younger brother to pal around with. However, that was not in the cards for her and her family.
Nimura was always interested in jewelry. Whether making it or wearing it, she didn't make a difference between the two. She found them all to be such interesting things. While she didn't gain an interest in making jewelry for quite a while, she loved just looking at all of the jewelry that people would wear. It was all so fascinating how the pieces were put together so that the stones would shine.
She made some friends in her home, but none with lasting bonds. She enjoyed spending time with them. True, they got into fights on occasion, but only verbally. She seemed to take forever to forgive them. But eventually she did, and they got back to playing like they normally did.
It was when she was about ten turns old that two of her closest friends got into an argument. This argument seemed different than the normal ones. Her friends seemed to be really angry at each other. After the fight, neither friend would speak to each other. They would not even be in the same room. This hurt Nimura so much. She enjoyed the company of both friends, but now she couldn't be in one friend's company without hearing something bad about the other friend.
So she decided that she would put up walls to protect herself. She was decided that she would not let something like what had happened with her friends happen to her. Rather, let that happen to her again. Thus began her guarded life. She wanted nothing more than to just avoid having any kind of hurt like that in her life. For her, the simplest way to do that was putting up a wall.
A couple more turns passed and she was on her way to the Smith Hall to start her apprenticeship. The work was tough, but she was willing to see it through. Whenever she could, she wrote back home to her family. She gave them all updates on how she thought she was doing. Her letters always had a happy tune to them.
It took several turns of a rather uneventful apprenticeship before she reached the Journeyman status. She was twenty when she finally walked the tables. This is when she started working on her specialty, jewelry. She really enjoyed making all different kinds of jewelry. She was truly pleased with her work, whenever she finished a piece, even if it was not the best piece out there. As long as it was her best, she was happy.
After reaching Journeyman, Nimura decided that it was time to get back to Ice Stone Weyr. Almost a fortnight after she returned to the Weyr, a dragon returning from a Search had told her that she would make a good Candidate. She knew that she was on the older side for a Candidate, but she would like to see if she would Impress. She would be happy with any color.
She came back to find out about the Silverlights, and that there was a bit of a conflict to them. She understood why there was conflict, but saw little reason for it. Dragons were dragons, in her opinion. No matter what color they were. She also thought it was silly that they were making such a big deal about dragons that could be either gender and Impress either gender. There were others like that. Though, she supposed it was due to their initially being ranked as Queens, or the question of them being ranked as Queens when they were females.
She didn't Impress for two Turns. Nimura had seen how Hatchings normally went, and even stood for one herself. Though she hadn't Impressed at Lanikath's Hatching. She had enjoyed seeing the babies Impress to the people they knew were their person, but she had been sad that she hadn't been one of them. She had been so sad about what had happened to the Clutch. She had seen the babies that survived the ordeal Impress.
Then, Ice Temperanth had her Flight which would lead to a Clutch. She really hoped to Impress at this Hatching. It would be only one more Turn until she was no longer able to be a Candidate. Luckily, that Hatching was her 'lucky' Hatching. She went to the Sands when the eggs began to Hatch, and watched as each dragonet Hatched, and Impressed. The Sunset had her a bit worried at the beginning, when she was panicked, but after she calmed down Nimura was all good. She watched as almost all the other dragonets Impressed. The Sunset was over by the boys, but walked back to the girls, and stopped in front of her.
Nimura! Your Naleeth couldn't find you. Oh well, that doesn't matter right now. Can you get me some food? The Sunset's voice came into her mind. She almost squealed in delight. "Of course!" She said to the Sunset, her Sunset, as she lead the young dragon over to the feeding area. She was excited about her new life. She could hardly wait to see what being a Weyrling was like.
Adoption?: Sure.
Dragon's Name: Naleeth
Dragon’s Gender: Female
Dragon's Age: 1 Turns {Born 3076.01.22}
Dragon's Color: Sunset {f8ca53 f8eb53 f87453}
Dragon's Appearance: Naleeth is a small Sunset. When she is fully grown, she'll be only 22 feet. Like a true Sunset, her hide is the color of a sunset. It is like a springtime sunset, with its light red and yellow hues. The top of her is a nice light red which fades into a light yellow. This light yellow is throughout the lower half of her body for the most part. There is one other color, which is a lighter yellow, on the lower half of her body. This third color isn't really noticeable unless someone looks closely.
Dragon's Personality: Naleeth wants everyone around her to laugh and have fun. Her positive nature radiates from her almost constantly, which can annoy some people. She has to be careful, because she can be oblivious to other’s moods if they are not interested her brand of positivity. It is hard to bring her down, but when it happens she has a tendency to want to hide away so as not to infect others with sorrow or pain. It does make it so that she closes herself off from the same prescription she would prescribe to others though. Naleeth remembers names and faces almost perfectly the first time, be they human, dragon or Lifewing. This knack can extend to histories and the like, if she is shown where the fun can be there. Otherwise she prefers to be out and about then inside with facts.
Dragon's History: Naleeth hatched after the egg of one of her larger brothers tipped over and knocked an egg into hers. A Gray, soon after they were Hatched, made a loud cry right behind her. This startled her quite a bit. She panicked and in her haste to get away, she ran over her Darkblue brother. She ran in a course that would have put her on a crash course with Chiara if her Brown brother hadn't made her swerve to the left to hit Travis. It took a while, but after a conversation with her Darkhaze Aurora sibling, she calmed down.
She started to look for someone for her. She checked the girls first, then went to the boys. The boys didn't hold Hers, either. So she decided to look through the girls again. And she found Hers in the girls. Nimura! Your Naleeth couldn't find you. Oh well, that doesn't matter right now. Can you get me some food? She had told the girl. She was sure that they would be great together.
Role play sample: Today had been a rather good day. Naleeth and Nimura had been out and about. Each wanted to make others happy, and though they weren't able to find anyone today, tomorrow held promise for both. Naleeth was currently napping, as Hatchlings often did. However, the Sunset was not far from waking up. Naleeth soon awoke with an itch that seemed to be quite difficult to scratch. It was right where she couldn't reach it, she knew then that she would need help. Nimura! I'm itchy. She complained.
Nimura knew what that meant. She also knew what she had to do to remedy the situation. She began to guide the Sunset to the lake. There, she would wash and oil the young dragon. She just didn't want the itching to get any worse. That would definitely not be any good. She knew that the main worry was when dragons went Between, but she didn't want to take a chance with the safety of her Naleeth.
Naleeth seemed to really enjoy the oiling. Although, she probably enjoyed more the fact that the itching had gone away. Either way, Nimura was glad that Naleeth was feeling better. It was always enjoyable to have no pain, or itch in this case, rather than living with the problem. The pair headed back to their weyr, with Naleeth crooning happily along the way. She saw another dragon, and gave an extra happy croon. But she was sleepy still, so she just continued to follow Hers back to the place where she could sleep in peace.
