So, I took a creative class spring term of 2013, and I was going through my computer and found these old assignments from it:
3x10 Statements
I remember puking on the skating rink after eating ice cream
I remember being told that desert was going to be roasted pinecone
I remember playing poker at the high school prom
I remember getting thrown out of art day camp because I told the adults to give my pictures back
I remember the day my little brother saved my life
I remember building a snowman in the middle of the road
I remember momentarily thinking that a cop was reading my mind
I remember being lost in Paris
I remember herding goats
I remember getting chased by a cow
If only I remembered what happened when I was a toddler
If only I had won that race
If only honesty was an option
If only people didn’t go to war
If only popcorn had never been invented
If only common sense controlled politics
If only this was 1968
If only humans were programmable
If only dating came with instruction manuals
If only that ax had been sharper
From now on I will never consume raw celery
From now on I will only practice singing in isolated rooms between the hours of 21:00 and 0:00.
From now on I will only use pencils for what their designer intended
From now on I will not lose patience at banquets
From now on I will not attempt to tackle goats
From now on I will only attempt to launch homemade rockets within large parking lots that are empty
From now on I will juggle only when not tap-dancing
From now on I will refrain from asking to keep something for scrapbook material immediately prior to being interviewed
From now on I will write down any and all dreams concerning albino flamingos, frog-people, or trolls
From now on I will never attempt to write stories while eating pizza in the absence of plates
