It was getting late... As Rukbat descended passed the horizon, the sky was thrown into a blaze of bright orange and yellow, lighting the heavens on fire with their shocking display. But it was the light that this cast on the Weyr below that was much more interesting, at least to Lylore, as he watched the shadows grow slowly longer as the sun went down. He walked along the ledge on the outside of the weyrs, the one that would lead him home to where K'nan would no doubt be waiting for him. He had been around for some time now, having not been sent on any kind of mission for awhile, which both had Lylore happy and worried; to not be sent on a mission in so long meant that he would likely get new orders soon. His brow was furrowed with this exact thought as he finally made it to the entrance to their shared weyr, and he stopped before he turned the corner.
He took a moment to take a deep breath, removing that look from his face. K'nan was brilliant at reading him, he had grown so much closer to the male that he had come to known the looks on his face. And so he cleared his thoughts, before he carefully peeked around the corner, just a bare bit of his eyes and the top of his head visible as he did so. When he confirmed that the male was, indeed home, he shuffled out into view, and moved into the weyr.
K'nan had called him back via Embraeth, the voice had shot into his head as he had been walking along the beach. Apparently, his lover had something to tell him, and it was this exact fact that was causing the worry he had just been thinking about. He knew it was time for another assignment for the bronzerider, and he didn't want to deal with that now. Not when they had just started to really get their lives going together...
