Character-Related Question: Search.

Righto. I am new here, as might be a smidgen obvious. But I noticed that there's not really a pre-Candidate sort of option on the character applications, and the Candidate apps have a bit about how the character was Searched.

See, I'd kind of like to RP out that Search to figure out my character's disposition toward being abruptly introduced to weyr life, honestly, which is why I'm asking (there's not a questions/help forum that I saw, but it's 4:30AM so I could have missed it if it's out there oops) to see if there's a way around that and/or someone's Rider to spare for Search shenanigans if the go-ahead to do so is given.

Of course, I wanted to see if this would be possible before I actually start hammering out a long-winded character app.

Anyone with a full fledged Rider can Search your character as long as you plan for them to; if I'm correct. That's what I've always remembered doing ^_^

Yes, its common to ask someone with a rider to search a character before hand, and we certainly do love a good search thread here. =3 The having the search in history is recommended for candidates who have been around for a while (IC of course)but its perfectly find to want to start with a search instead.
