Appearance: Judella is average in height, standing around five foot four inches and her weight is about what it needs to be for that height, maybe a little lighter. Her hair is a lovely red color and is usually curly and wavy and sits a little longer than her shoulders. She doesn't tie it up much so most times you will see it lay across her back. Her nose is small and her lips are full but not overly so. Jude has very fair skin, which of course comes with the red hair and burns most of the time in the sunlight. She loves being outside but her skin says otherwise.
Judella is a very elegant young woman and can see seen wearing clothes that say such. She wears light dresses but yet can still wear her leggings and shirts for she is not against it. Her mother always taught her to accent her hair and her eyes so that is what she does when it comes to colors she wears. Her eyes are a light green that set against her milky skin well.
Personality: Judella is a very sweet girl. Everything about her is sweet and kind. She is very soft spoken and doesn't cuss or say anything rude to anyone. Ther probably isn't a mean bone in this young woman's body. When she does get angry she just takes a few deep breaths and trys to calm herself down. Her mother always told her it wasn't ladylike to get angry and show that ugliness on her face. So she lives by such a thing. Jude is very old fashioned because of this as well. Her mother raised her to be a good girl and a good girl she has been. For a nineteen year old woman, she hasn't done anything bad or against the rules her whole life.
Jude likes to make others happy with her songs, even if some aren't so happy and chearful. she loves to tell a story with her voice, for she loves to sing. She is also very helpful and will do what she can when someone needs just that. However, along with this, Jude is actually very shy when she speaks one on with someone like a cute boy. She always seems to make a fool of herself, or so she thinks. Speaking with small children she is fine and speaking with the older generation she is fine too, but when it comes to speaking to others her age, she freezes a lot.
She cannot stand when people pick on others. It drives her nuts and that is one thing where it bugs her to where she gets angry, but she will not show it. She is very good at hiding her emotions at times when she needs too. She doesn't like that she is such a good girl and yet her friends don't respect that a lot of the time. They want her to break the rules, just once. She is against it completely thoughs.
Judella wants to be a rider, it has always been a dream but her mother is against it completely. Her father wants her to but he always wished she was a boy, so their relationship isn't the best. She wants to respect her mother but wants to ride so bad. It is her goal to be a great rider and prove to all that she can be a good person and a good rider as well. But she is afraid of failing. She doesn't want to disapoint anyone either and she really doesn't want to ruin the relationship she has with her mother, so she is torn on what to do.
History: Judella was born in turn 3057. Her mother and father had been trying for many years to have a child and when she finally became pregnant, she was very careful in whatever she did and ate. Jude's mother didn't want to lose her only chance at becoming a mother. But when Judella was born, her father was disapointed because he wanted a son. Ever since she was a baby, her father seemed to resent her.
Growing up, Jude was a very frail young girl for she was born early and developed some sickness that no one was sure how to get rid of. However, she finally seemed to get better when she was a few years old and things started to get better for her and her family. However, her father didn't seem to like her anymore then he did before.
Judella and her mother grew very close as she grew older. They did a lot together and spent most of their time together. Jude was a very sheltered young girl growing up and didn't go outside much for she would burn very easily so she stayed inside. She spent most of her time reading, learning, and singing.
When Jude was 12 she was accepted to be a harper. This brought tears to her mothers eyes as it was such an honor. Judella had always been such a bright child and was very smart from the start. That with singing, she was the perfect candidate for being a harper. Her father wasn't realy all the amused but that was typical. There just wasn't anything that would make him happy about his daughter.
As she grew, Judella grew into her craft and became better at her craft. Being a harper made Jude happy and she liked telling the stories of the lands. She was very good at expressing herself and the life of what happened in Pern. Granted she was kind of shy at first but started getting more and more comfortable singing and teaching the people.
Growing up in a sheltered home, Jude didn't hang out with a lot of people her own age. They made her nervous and she always felt like the were judging her and givign her wierd looks. Her mother told her stories about how judgemental some people could be. They were like horror stories to the poor redhead. Her mother always told her how bad boys were too and that she shouldn't let a guy near her until she was much older. Because of this, Jude has never been kissed and is still very much a virgin.
These days, Jude is now a candidate for a dragon. This has brought her and her father closer and he seems more interested in her now that she is doing something like this. Her mother however is very upset that Judella decided to do something like this and it has made her parents fight. Lately, Jude's songs have become sad and full of emotion.
