He is only about four and a half feet tall currently, and still somewhat lean in his build. He is generally to be seen bundled up in warm clothing, though no matter what the outfit, he wears a golden ring on a chain around his neck. It's something of an heirloom -- he's very possessive of it.
Personality: Kanis is generally open, though he doesn't make many "true friends". Rather, he has multitudes of close acquaintances, which is just as well, because everything open and friendly is just a sham -- in reality, he wants to lure people in so he can feed them to his man-eating canines. It's a tradition started by his grandfather, whose two best canines (Hannibal and Lector) won many races on such a diet. His father's team, including Hannibal II, Adportus, and Yrch, likewise do very well on this diet.
History: Kanis was born to Kannum and Isamuna Puer in a snow storm. Actually, it was closer to a blizzard. Fortunately, the abominable snowman was drawn off by Rudolf (the first of many times that Kanis ended up owing his life to his friend). Growing up, Kanis -- unlike his unlamented younger twin Remus -- showed a willingness to continue the family tradition (one which he proved by killing Remus and feeding him to his father's sled team). About a turn later, his sister, Kana, was born.
