Friends: Considers just about anyone she runs into her friend, but is newly searched and doesn’t have any close companions yet.
Pets: One Canine by the name of Tarou. He is a medium breed, but on the larger end of the medium spectrum. His fur is a medium length and light tan in color. His ears a triangular and often pricked to catch the first sounds of danger. He is a working canine through and through, but he is getting up there in age. At seven turns old, he still had a couple years of hard work left in him, but her father found that he was better off with his daughter.
Appearance: Kitalia is a young girl very tiny and slight in stature. She tends to be one of the shortest in her age group, having only achieved a scant height of around 4'5 or so, and has a very light build, weighing in at an ever so slight weight of around 95 pounds. She moves as if she could take off into the skies alone at any second. Every movement, no matter how slight seems to be filled with an unbelievable energy. She did not come from a rich family, so she didn’t often get her choice in clothing, but if she could choose, it would be comfortable, but out of the most brightly colored things that she could manage to get her hands on. Her hair is long and a vibrant red in color. Mostly straight with just the hint of wave to it. It’s usually in some form of a messy ponytail as she typically cannot seem to care to take the time to manage it properly. Her eyes are a bit large and often wide to the world. They glitter a playful crystal blue that can at times turn as intense as ice. But this is a highly rare occurrence and more often than not they may remind one as a playfully glittering stream rather than something that cold and harsh.
Personality: Kita has always been an intensely happy child with an energy level that can exhaust even the most fit and active of people. She has spent most of her young childhood helping with and chasing after the creatures that her parents tend to. She is very friendly, almost to a fault. She is highly trusting of others, which makes her very naieve and rather easy to manipulate if one is keen to that. She has a very good heart, only wanting to do good for others. She is very sweet and innocent, kind hearted and such. But she is very malleable. If caught by the wrong sort, and spun a good line, it’s very possible for young Kita to go either way. But her heart is always in the right place, wanting the good for all, and with time will come knowledge and discernment… One would hope.
Kitalia is a little scatterbrained, and rather easily distractable. She jumps from task to task or topic to topic at a rate that is enough to make most people’s heads spin. She has a bit of trouble completing very many things as she tends to get distracted by this and that, and will likely take a firm hand, or claw, to keep her centered and focused.
She especially loves to help where she can. She is constantly finding and doing little tasks that she thinks will help make someone else’s life easier… Then again, her experiments end in disaster at times. But her heart is in the right place, and correctly directed, she has potential to do a lot of good. She is creative and curious about the world around her and can be found exploring… Sometimes where she shouldn’t.
History:
Kitalia was born and raised in the Rolling Hills Hold. Her family was very involved in the Beastcraft Trade. The family raised herdbeasts and had quite a nice thing going. Kita was very helpful growing up. She was always willing to help her mother and father with the herd. Kita was always very close to the animals, tending and watching over them. It wasn't always herdbeasts that she cared for. She often brought home small wounded creatures to tend back to health. She loved all sorts of animals but always let them go when they were well enough. There was one animal that never left her. She became particularly close to one of her fathers working canines. A large sleek canine by the name of Tarou. He was always at her side ready to jump to her aid... To protect her when she got in over her head, to dry her tears when a small creature passed on, to frolic with her in the happy times. He became her protector and constant friend. But Kita knew he was never to be hers. He belonged to her father and was one of the best working canines he possessed.
Kitalia was an only child. Her mother and father had so much trouble conceiving but finally had her. They didn't manage to have another but they were a happy little family. Kitalia was well loved and doted over. She was their darling princess and they adored her so. Their plan was for her to take up their trade and follow in their footsteps... But fate had other ideas.
In the beginning of her thirteenth turn she was visited by a rider and dragon of the Rainbow Mists Weyr. They told them that she was to be chosen as a candidate. Naturally Kita was thrilled
Her parents couldn't have been less so. They were terrified but they could not miss the joy and eagerness as their young daughter begged to be allowed to go and with some deliberation decided she could go.
This brings her to the present. She has come to the Weyr and began her candicacy with such eagerness and gusto as was rarely seen. She fully threw herself into everything... Her lessons, chores, everything. She hasn't been around long but already it was likely she was worming her way into the hearts of those around her and starting her new phase of life.
Adoption?:If I disappear and she's still needed for plots then perhaps...
Dragon Preferences: Kita's preference: I don't care! They're all majestic and wonderful and beautiful! I would be incredibly lucky if any of them chose me!
My preference: (This is so hard to choose as there are so darn many choices... Lol I love it!)
| Preferred Colors | I really like the looks of Moonlight or Sunlance, then again I would also love a Rainbow should I get so lucky, or a Purple. | I’m thinking a dragon that can help keep Kita’s incredible energy channeled and in check would be good… Either that or someone who’s energy and love for life would rival that of her own. Then again those two would make for a great and terrible match indeed! The purple could be funny, it seems very much like Kitalia in dragon form.  But overall I trust the judgment of those running the hatching.  |
| Cross Impression? | I’d be open to that. | I don't mind either way really, hadn't really given it a whole lot of thought, but if a male dragon compliments Kita better in the protective aspect, it could work. |
| Preferred Type(s) of Dragon/Rider Pair | Probably either match or Complement I’d imagine. But again, I’m open to different things if a better idea arises. | I have two ideas where I could see this pair going, and either one is wonderful to me. Either they could be very similar and bounce off eachother until they are a loving hyperactive whirlwind of the Weyr, or a wonderful pair in which Kita's energy is channeled and they become more of an asset to the Weyr. But I'm certainly open to other things too. |
