Appearance:Shri is a petite woman and she comes in at roughly average 5'5" give or take a few inches. Her hair is a strawberry blond color with just a slight wave to it. Of course it is hard to tell this fact usually, because Shri's preferred hair style is a shortcut with her hair tied back. So it looks straight, with just a little fluff for a pony tail. She has large green eyes and has a nose with a slightly raised bridge that keeps her from looking too cute. Her fair skin freckles quickly in the sun, and her nose is littered with them, as well as her arms. She has callouses on her fingers and a few scratches littered all over the place, from eager, clingy pets.
Shri dresses for practicality first and foremost. Oddly enough, this means some accessories where ever she goes. She is never seen without a belt, a sash, and two pouches that connect to them. All made of rough brown cloth, her pants and shirt tend toward neutrals as well. When she is by herself, the outfit might not make sense, but when her firelizards are around, it is clear that her choice of clothing is a landing pad for them.
Shri tends toward neutral facial expressions, though when she smiles, she can look rather innocent. As is, she looks every inch a tomboy, since her chest is not doing her any favors.
Personality: Shri is a serious individual, focused on doing her job and doing it well. That job might not be glamorous, but she knows that if she left it for a day, all sorts of chaos would be unleashed. She's not above doing dirty work, and cares more about the fact that a job needs to be done, then the importance of it.
Despite what her upbringing my suggest, Shri is not all about healing. She has been trained in some light healing, but has also sought out knife training. If most people around here are like the Lifewings, healers to the core, she likens herself more to a Rougewing. After all, she was the odd one out, not going into healing for a trade. She doesn't seem uncomfortable with being 'out of place' far from it. She is exactly where she wants to be. Shri has always had a strong sense of herself, and has the ability to command with conviction. This becomes apparent when she interacts with her firelizards, all of which have their own desire to be at the front.
She has weaknesses, as all people do, and one of them is for sweets. She has a voracious sweet tooth, and if she is found doing favors for people, it can almost always be traced back to a recently baked tart or cake.
Shri respects Lifewing Riders, Dragon Riders and Wher Handlers, but has no problems not being one. After all, she has her own beauties, and even if they are not large, they can be larger then life when they want to be.
History: Shri was born to Haviol and Salora Kestrel, two residents of Rainbow Mists Aerie. They were pleased, since they had been trying for some time to have a child, and a lovely girl was just perfect in their eyes. It was trying for a while, raising Shri, as both of the proud parents had irregular schedules and it made it hard to have good time to bond with her. As a result, Shri grew up with an ability to be self reliant from a young age.
Her parents tried as best they could, but not always did time work out for them. As a result they often tried to make it up to their only daughter in the form of gifts. When she turned seven, they surprised her with the best gift of all. One of their friends had a firelizard that recently clutched, and presented the largest egg to her as a favor. It hatched into a pretty little Gold, who she named Analis. This was the start of a very interesting turn for the young girl. Analis was a Gold and demanded things. It took a turn of pleading, coaxing, and tantrums to finally bring Shri to the point to put her foot down. It was a rough day, and a couple rough weeks, but eventually the two got to an understanding. Analis could be the Queen that she was, but she had to listen to the girl. From then on, it was an unstoppable partnership. So much so that it wasn't that surprising when she turned thirteen and instead of becoming an apprentice healer, her education rested with the local merchant. He would teach her accounting, writing, and most important, haggling. A very good set of skills for someone with a Gold Firelizard.
As she grew, Analis was courteous enough to clutch regularly, and she learned how long she had to sell her eggs. Of course, not every time was so nice, and she found herself stuck with eggs on occasions. The first time she could find no one to gift it to, the egg hatched into the spitfire that she called Dea, a Copper firelizard that grew up into a creature that wanted to challenge both her and Analis time and time again. Now sporting two clutching females was certainly a trial, and led once again to a time where she couldn't quite make the sale quick enough. This time it was a Flame, who from day one was kept in line by his mother and half sister.
As Shri finished her apprenticeship, she became aware of another use for her skills. True, firelizard eggs were profitable, but she has to go long stretches without them, even between both of her girls. She could become a merchant full time, but she elected to use her skills for the Aerie instead. Firelizards were always of use to relay messages, and whenever the call came for a rider, they needed someone to take the message, find the right rider and give them directions. In other words, lots of analysis, which her training had prepared her for. She decided to do that, making marks with her firelizards on the side.
She was happy when the Aerie moved to its new location, as there was a room entirely for her work (along with the others that helped with such things).
Now that war has been declared, Shri is unsure how her role might change, but is perfectly willing to support the Aerie and the Weyr as much as she is able.

Personality: Analis wants everything done her way. If not, she'll pester and demand until it is fixed. The only person who can do what they want is Shri, everyone else better step into line. She often quarrels with Dea, especially about her position when landing on their human. Analis is good at the jobs that Shri assigns her, and will occasionally be seen fussing over her human like a mother. Though she acts above it all, she is almost an extension of Shri at this point, since the two understand each other so well.

Color: Copper
Personality: Dea is a spitfire. Get in her space and she will let you know with a series of hisses until you leave or get her mad enough to try and lash out. Except that Dea is on a short leash with Shri. Analis likewise keeps her under a strict watch, much to the Copper's annoyance. Despite how violent the firelizard's tendencies are, she guards her eggs like any Gold would. So much so that when Dea clutches, Shri will just count her Copper as out and work around the loss until the eggs are sold.

Color: Flame
Personality: Selt is the smallest of the bunch, and resents that fact. The two elder female firelizards can bully him this way and that, and as seethes as much as any Crimson. He's a master of subtle troubles though, so finds his ways to get back at the other two. Food stolen here, a favorite pillow already occupied there, nothing big, but a neat little web of venting for Selt. He is probably the most efficient out of Shri's firelizards, able to deliver messages, and retrieve items before she even knows it. He reads and feeds off of other's moods, its just a shame for the most part those moods belong to Analis and Dea.

Color: Crimson-Brick
Personality: Trickster to the core, Panero is the youngest of the band. He is as smart as Selt, but far more outgoing, and can be as difficult as Dea to handle. He does delight in making his family happy, and even when he tricks folks he does it to bring them out of their funk. He tries his best for Shri, but it would be a bad idea to get on his bad side, as he can be a terror.
