Late Afternoon
Weyrbowl
Tarakuro… No. T’kuro was absolutely over the moon… It was a few days after the Hatching and now he felt truly complete… He found himself out in the Weyrbowl, his everpresent companion at his side. Galvath looked up to him, a fondness radiating from the young dragon. He felt a very strong connection to this human who was to be his bonded. They were of one heart and one mind. Out to do the same thing and that was to work for their Weyr, keep it safe… But today, no such safety was to be needed. The Weyrlings had been given an afternoon to themselves and so T’kuro had tried to arrange it with as many of the new Weyrlings as he could to meet in the Weyrbowl for a little R and R. He wasn’t certain who all would show up, as the others may actually want to relax while they had the chance. But then again he could be surprised. In his hand he held a roughly fashioned ball. He had hoped to play a game with the others. It was one he was fairly certain that the dragons could take part in as well. Galvath looked to him curiously and cocked his head to the side. Mine… What is that for? What are we doing today? Galvath wanted to be prepared for whatever was to come. T’kuro chuckled softly and shrugged a bit in a nonchalant manner. “I hoped we could meet with some of your sisters and brothers and perhaps play a game… Is that alright with you?” Any time I get to spend with you is alright with me. Although I’m not sure a… Game… With all my brothers and sisters would be advisable… His eyes whirled with some slight concern thinking of his hyperactive Purple brother. T’kuro reached over to gently and fondly rub Galvath’s eye ridges, finding a spot that he had quickly found he loved bringing a soft croon from his responsibility driven lifemate. “Nothing will go awry that we can’t handle Galvath. We’re just going to have a little fun.” He smiled as he began to fashion out ‘Goals’ by roughly flattening the grass of the Weyrbowl in a line on either side of his crudely fashioned field.
T’kuro set the ball down on the grass as he set to work before pausing to glance around and see if anyone was approaching. So far he didn’t see anyone and he suddenly hoped that he and Galvath wouldn’t be alone. The large Brown warbled his agreement in T’kuro’s silent hope. Galvath wandered over to the ball and sniffed at it curiously before smacking it with a forepaw. He was greatly delighted when he saw the ball bounce across the grass and he looked up to T’kuro rather elated despite his usual calm demeanor. So we hit this… Ball? Across the grass and then run after it in hopes of getting it over the line before the others do on their side? T’kuro grinned broadly and nodded. “You’ve got it my friend… Let’s hope your sisters and brothers are as eager to play as you are.” He chuckled softly as Galvath practiced batting the ball, chasing it, and batting it back almost like an overgrown cat. Well it was indeed a beautiful day, far too beautiful
