History: Mestarian is a young man living on a farm on the outskirts of Stormy Plains Beast Hold. Living with his mother and father he helped with the Runnerbeasts and trading with people in the hold. Mestarian spent is free time laying in the grass looking up in the sky wondering if this was all he was meant to do and this thought haunted him nearly every day. As he got older his father began taking him to the Hold's Gathers and he would hear many stories from Harpers, the ones that interested him the most were of the dragons and dragon riders. before leaving the hold to head to back home his father stopped by to speak with a merchant that owed him for a Runnerbeast. When the merchant said he didn't have enough to pay him back without completely emptying him of all his marks, Mestarian spied a firelizard egg and pointed out an idea to his father in whispers. Mest's father took the idea and ran with it, explaining to the man that he would take the egg instead of marks. The merchant agreed reluctantly and handed over the egg to Mest's father. Mestarian pleaded with his father for the egg, who in turn gave in a few days later to the requests. Mestarian began to care over the egg, rotating it and carefully watching over it's hatching pot until the day the egg cracked. The shards flew from the hearth where the pot rested revealing a hot energetic flame firelizard. Mest named the Flame flitt Natsu upon Impression, feeding it until the little baby was fat and content. The Impression led Mest into asking more questions about dragonriders and his father eventually told him that he had a cousin named J'lall who was a Dragonrider at Ice Stone Weyr. Knowing that someone from his family, even if distant, was able to become a rider he wondered if he had the ability as well.
