Appearance: She stands at 6'0 even and is tall for a woman with the family broad shouldered dragonrider frame. But unlike her brothers she does have more elegant, statuesque lines with good size breasts and gently curving hips with the long, shapely legs, she is a leg girl all right.She is good looking and handsome instead of classically pretty or and will look younger then her years all through her life. She has the family tight cork screw black curls and some strong African blood making the kink and the inky black more so but just enough "Other" that it is curl and not frizz and wears hers in thick dreads threaded with shiny gold, copper and silver rings, as well as feathers from her partner. Although she does possess the family dragonrider gene physique hers is slimmer and softer, more willowy then muscled. She does have strong hands thought. Same bright engaging smile, same dark eyes, lighter dark skin then her brothers and African features, but hers are softer, rounder more feminine and a mirror image of her twin sister.
She tends to favour soft, feminine colours and clothing styles and lots of jewelry. She is deaf as a result of a bad bought a illness. She has a little dog she has trained to be her ears and has been with her since she was 14. Also her Lifewing partner helps her. She is very good at lip reading and has a very soft, tuneless voice that is often common in the deaf.

Personality:
It is very safe it say that Paxie is the one who inherited her maternal line's healer genes as she is a very gentle, compassionate, loving woman with a kind, friendly outlook. She is tolerant, open minded and a romantic at heart and finding herself bisexual and attracted to both sexes. She has a deep intuitive side that not only picks up on her sister and brother's deep feelings and if they are safe or in danger - she can pick this up in patients and with the help of her Lifewing partner this instinct is only strengthened. She is wise and an old soul with a love for everything and everybody. She is somewhat naive and sensitive and will give the shirt off her back to anyone who asks. Genuine and generous she is too loving, too giving, too sensitive at times. She is very hard on herself and has the family integrity and need for perfection and this shows in her work as a healer and as a woman. She is organised and focused and her patients always come first. Her deafness does cause her some challenges and she does get frustrated with her inability to understand what other's are saying around her - but her Lifewing partner works with her on this all the time and her teachers are working out a type of sign language.
She is currently developing her career and talent around people who have PTSD and trauma form shock, war and abuse, mental illnesses too.
History:
Paxie is the oldest of a set of twins and has 2 younger brothers who are also twins. She was born at Ista Weyr raised by her dragonrider father and Lifewing healer mother and the children all followed along to Southern when they were posted there at age 10. She comes from a unique family line in Ista and can trace their genealogy back a few generations of riders. Their family has produced many Istan dragon riders on her father's side, with 1 or 2 Weyrleaders and Weyrwomen and her mother's side has had healers and Lifewing partners going back a few generations too. Harpering, Healing and Serving Pern are strong characteristics, traits and history coming from both sides of the family. Once such occasion was in Southern Weyr where all the family children contracted a horrible Southern Illness when she was 10, thanks to the skill of their mother and her partner all survived but all have side effects only for the parents to then catch it and die, leaving their kids alone. Paxie herself was left deaf and spent some time getting used to her disability and loss of her parents. It hit the sensitive girl hard and she felt that as the one in the family to inherit the gift for Healer and the nature to go with it that she should approach the Aeria in search of partner and go down the healers parth. So she set off to do this and was accepted to attend the snext Hatching at Ice Stone Aerie when she was 15 and Linked to the middle born Lifewing Rurusk. The pair have been together ever since and have recently come out of their training as trained Journeywoman Healers and are making a name of themselves as they help victims with mental trauma from PTSD, Abuse, War and Mental Illness.

a small, compact, dark-brown owl. Its striking yellow to yellowish-green eyes are set into two facial disks either side of a small sharply hooked bill. The back feathers are dark-brown spotted sparsely with off-white. The breast is dark-brown variably streaked with cream and brown through to rufous. The legs are feathered legs down to the yellow feet.
LifeWing's Personality:
Rurusk shares her partner's compassion and love for all beings. SHe is keenly intelligent and shares her partner's instinctive healing abilities for the mind with a similar intuitive ability to see and do what is needed to heal. She is perfectionist like her partner but she is also more practical and respectful of the natural reality of life - all things die and come to an end and sometimes they have to facilitate a good death.
She is also the stable, calm and capable rock to her partner's more fluid sensitive nature, very aware of what is going on around them, always monitoring, protecting and watching, listening.
LifeWing's History:
Rurusk was the middle hatchling of 3 to hatch out and after looking around, taking in the huge world around her she did a lot of blinking and staring. Before she reached out to a young deaf girl who needed her. The pair Linked and have been together ever since.
