Mid Morning
OOC - Aravire is not looking for a weyrmate but she will get pregnant from this flight, and Raeth will produce a small clutch.
Aravire leaned back against the outer wall of her weyr that lead to the weyr's ledge. She had been up before the sun this morning, watching Ice Stone begin a new day as those that worked the night shift changed shifts with those that would take their places. She was not a Weyrling any more, not for a turn anyway. She knew the signs of her lifemate's impending flight. The glowing, her lifemate snapping at others. It was clear to anyone that knew dragons would know the signs of a rising female dragon.
Aravire began her morning routine. She had errands to run and cleaning to do. It wasn't until mid morning that she felt the familiar feelings bubble up to the surface as she felt for her lifemate's state of mind upon the Aurora's wakening. It was filled with mating lust. Lust that began to course through her own body. And then came the roar of challenge from the Aurora that would herald her intention of flying. Aravire was not concerned in the least about anything going wrong during her lifemate's flights, but one could never predict them. It was all up to her lifemate who she chose for the winner. She managed to stumble back into her weyr and waited for her lifemate to begin the chase.
Raeth snarled as she launched from her ledge and glided swiftly to the Feeding pens. She blooded a few kills before she took flight. I will outfly them all!
