Following the destruction of Thread and the deactivation of AIVAS, Pern is in upheaval. Holds and Weyrs now openly battle each other for control of resources, leaving a trail of destruction in their wake. There is but one safe haven, far in the Eastern Ring Islands: Isle Weyr. Here, riders and holders may gather in a somewhat tenuous peace while Pern's fate is decided in the North.

We are an uncanon weyr, featuring two new sport colors, in addition to the original canon five (plus white dragonkin). We are an LGBTQ+ friendly environment, and LGBTQ+ characters are always welcome. Our first hatching is set to happen in Late November/Early December, and a Queen egg is among them - now is the perfect time for some candidates!

However, there is one place where riders and holders may gather in a somewhat tenuous peace while Pern's fate is decided in the North: Isle Weyr. Located in a northern archipelago called the Dragonfire Isles, Isle Weyr is a sanctuary compared to the rest of Pern, but Faranth knows how long that peace can last.

Isle Weyr is classified as a semi-canon weyr with uncanon influences. You can find the original six colors of dragonkin as well as two new colors: Jasper and Black. The site is a friendly environment for LGBTQ+ members and characters, with no sexuality based impressions. Our first hatching will take place in Early December! We're looking for candidates, leadership positions, and have a Queen egg on the sands.

The time of dragons is at its end...

Whatever joy was felt after the Final Pass has long since faded. Pern is in a state of upheaval. Holds and Weyrs struggle to maintain relationships, battling for control over resources and politics. Destruction is left in their wake, catching innocent bystanders and neutral parties in the crosshairs. Harpers are made into spies, and mercenaries find work wherever marks can be made. The progression of technology slowly turns towards warfare and subterfuge.

The world is in turmoil...

But there is one place that might change the tide of the War. Originally begun as a backstop Weyr for the injured and the weary, Isle Weyr leads a relatively peaceful existence with its two Holds and Port. The archipelago is still largely unexplored, providing ample opportunity for those willing to explore. For eleven years, it has been a sanctuary compared to the rest of Pern, but that was before Holder extremists ransacked a hatching and two Weyrs burned a Hold during a Gather in retaliation.

Now Isle Weyr scrambles to maintain alliances and keep their world from falling apart, and another clutch of eggs sits warming on the sands.
