Hello and welcome to this important announcement thread. I want to start by saying how proud I am of all the good discussion we had and the good will with which it was done.
This announcement may not come as a surprise to some. The numbers are available for all to see. Of the nine of us here at Rainbow Mists currently, seven votes were cast. Six were for the motion to move our time-line forward fifty five Turns.
So now I'd like to make it official. The motion to move forward in time has passed and we will be acting to make the transition smooth for everyone and enjoyable.
Here are some relevant things that pertain to the move that are being worked on but are not yet done: -A write up of what occurs between the Turn we leave and the Turn at which we arrive -The exact downfall of Dark Mists Weyr (The place itself will not exist in the present Turn to which we are moving). -The population and traditions of LifeWings in Weyr culture
And personally I am still working on designing a new Weyrwoman figure.
Concerning characters, add 55 Turns (give or take depending on Turndays) to any character you wish to keep and stand by for relevant history updates.
I would like to welcome everyone and all our future members to Rainbow Mists Weyr to the
Sounds awesome, looking forward to a whole new generation of RMW.
Keeping K'cin and torching the rest.
Might I make a suggestion about DMW and why it doesn't exist anymore? Maybe their war with the DeathWings ended up destroying both evils mutually? The case of mutually assured destruction definitely begins with evil fighting evil. Or perhaps S'nire, met up with the other remnants of the older DMW and manipulated the new DMW into the ground?

mmm *goes through characters to decide who is being kept and who is not.* I know T'shom definitely, since even as old creatures Lifewings and their riders should still be useful. S'ar will either be torched or a reserve char for when I'm in a grumpy mood I want to inflict upon others.
The only reason I was hesitant about DMW destroying itself was because that would require all the Dark Mists chars dying in relatively quick succession and I wasn't sure if the people with DMW chars were okay with that, but part of our clause about Dark Mists was that your characters were subject to die without your approval. Hearing a similar idea suggested twice makes it seem possible that we might incorporate that into the history.
I was kinda hoping to have one of my DMW characters survive, but she would be dragonless... Can that jive with the ideas being thrown around right now?
