Rather plain chestnut brown hair is laced with a dark red and black naturally, not by any trick, and hangs to his shoulders. It's normally tied back in a ponytail at his neck, and is not too sharp a contrast to his tanned skin. His features aren't anything to scream about either, but he has dark, piercing jet black eyes that are flecked with just enough dark blue to LOOK blue under direct light. At 6 feet even, he's not tall, but not short, rather average, and is broad shouldered, lean waisted and long legged, normally dressed in rich Green and browns.
Personality:
He's not given to many words, only really speaking when he has to, but his presence alone seems to be enough in some cases, though far from all of them. He's occasionally prone to brooding silences, dwelling on the past and his own inner thoughts, dreams and desires. Querin is A gentle soul normally, careful around smaller people and creatures, and does his best not to harm them. Once possessed of a dangerous temper, he learned to control it once his sister FINALLY stopped tormenting him, and is now in perfect control of himself. He's incredibly fond of the LifeWings, and admires what they do greatly, how they are able to heal and rid their patients of pain. He also envies their Linked the relationship with them, and wishes he too could one day ride one of the great birds and be among those who have that honor.
He's now had the chance, and Giosh is his life. The Lifewing is always at the back of his mind, constantly being touched to to be sure he's alright.
History:
His history is fairly simple and straightforward, if one asks him. He was born, he grew up, he trained in a job he loved and now is Linked to his beloved Giosh.
However, it's more complicated than that. He was born to a Masterhealer and her Journeyman husband at the Healer Hall, and had an older sister(4 years his senior) who loved to tease and taunt him, even as a baby. Idana was his worst nightmare, constantly getting him in trouble and berating him viciously when he actually DID do something wrong. This led to him being such a withdrawn person, for his parents and others never believed him, thinking Idana was an angel, a perfect child. As they grew older, her tactics changed, and he evolved a new way of combating her, by saying nothing at all. This lack of defense eventually got her to go away and leave him be, and he continued his Healer Training at the Hall without her interference. Once she let him be he blossomed, becoming a talented and respected Journeyman at the age of 18, and continued his work. At 20 he came to the Weyr to work as a Healer, and first encountered the LifeWings, having not done so, interestingly enough, before that time. He immediately fell in love with the incredible creatures, and set about learning all he could about them, even as he continued working as a Healer for the Weyr. Eventually, he decided he wanted to try and Link with one, and applied for Candidacy to do so. After 2 Turns he was given the chance, and Linked with Giosh, first Hatched chick of the clutch of Tramesh and Redash.

Appearance: Right now, Giosh is a fluffy, almost white chick with a slightly darker neck and reddish/black beak. When he grows up, he will be a sleek, majestic bird with pure white body feathers, a rich black neck and head, and a deep gray beak with deep red caruncle.
Personality: Giosh is determined and proud, but always remembers his job, what he has decided he will help his Linked accomplish. He trains hard and works hard, but when he relaxes, his playful, loving nature comes out and shows itself once more. He's a gentle soul, who likes being with his Linked.
